I'm wondering if you can elaborate on how you maintain this planting? A: The plant in this image is actually Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivanti ‘Goldstrum’. The flower is almost identical to Rudbeckia hirta ‘Indian Summer’. The main difference is that ‘Goldstrum’ is a perennial and ‘Indian Summer’ is typically a biennial, though it depends on where you live. Biennials live only two years, and bloom only their second season, then die after reseeding heavily.
