We wanted to create a custom Yankee's theme room. -- and she hit a home run. All walls were hand pin-striped with the perfect size "pinstripes". I was concerned the pin-stripes would be too thick and look like a jail cell like most of the images I had seen on the internet. Heather hand painted perfect 1/4 inch pin-stripes around the entire room -- and created the perfect jersey rendition on the walls of my son's room. We also requested a custom looking baseball be painted in the center of the ceiling which would created a 3 dimensional view in the ceiling try. Again she exceeded our request with her artistic talent. Obviously a 1 of a kind piece....doesn't seem to still be available, where can I find another similar? A: Hello, This piece was actually a family heirloom - I've seen similar in antique shops and estate sales. It was natural wood. I prepped/primed and painted it the red 'Chinoise lacquer' base-coat with black/gold banding accents. Sourced oriental Chinoise stencils, which I hand-painted/embellished the piece with as per design. Hope this is helpful....essentially, yes one of a kind commission.
