> I received multiple quotes and gave preference to independent local contractors. Next-door Neighbor for Fairvue Plantation in Gallatin had a couple of potential contractors. Don’t think some guy working out of the back oh his truck is going to be the lowest price. Check other contractors. Why you should chose Light Up Nashville:

> 2\. Doug, their sales manager listens, quoted what we requested and provided options he recommended as adds. We added one option afterwards and it made a big impact on the lighting.
> 3\. They use all USA made lighting and controllers with the “best” warranty. You know they will be in business to service your needs years in the future. Not the case with the other guys!
> 4\. They provide a professional written quote so you know what you’re buying and getting! The other guy did not!
> 5\. They provided diagrams of the views of the lighting - front, back and top. Note! Fairvue Plantation’s HOA Architecture Board Requires drawings. Also, they help the home owner visualize the installation (including any added options for your consideration). The other guys didn’t - unless requested and it was not done well.

## Community Q&A

**Q: What type of wattage are you using on the uplighting - 100w or more?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This is a low voltage lighting system using LED lamps. The highest wattage lamp used on this install was 5 watts. Note that you could measure the brightness of old halogen or incandescent lamps by the wattage, however LED's don't work the same way. Use "lumens" to measure the brightness of LED lamps. Hope this helps.
