But we are so happy we went for it, adding an entire bedroom with closet and egress window. Our home feels so much bigger with the finished space. The work quality is fantastic! Ian and Tricia were true professionals throughout the entire process and the nicest people to work with. All of the subcontracts they used were just as great. The first was transforming a 3-season porch to a 4-season porch/home office. Ian designed and installed a plan that I'm truly thankful for since I spend 7-9 hours in it each work day (summer and COLD winters!). The porch was anything but 'square' as it was a DIY many years ago from a previous owner. He did an excellent job to install energy efficient windows, a new full glass door, insulated flooring and ceiling, ran electrical out there and built out the inside to make it not look like a 3-season porch anymore. > > The 2nd project was a bathroom remodel. It hadn't been updated in probably 20 years and really needed help. He installed a subway tile tub/shower surround (to the ceiling), wainscoting, new sink and toilet (and all hardware) and installed a vent fan as the bathroom never had one. > > What stood out as much as the quality of work was his professionalism and communication. We were out of town on vacation while he was doing the work and midway through the remodel, he discovered our glass block window (about 4'x3') was rotted. That wasn't part of the original plan but he contacted us quickly with a couple solutions and found a manufacturer in town to custom make a new window. When we returned, there was a delay in receiving the new window but he stayed on top of the company and was able to get it installed within a couple days of our return. A slight inconvenience for us (since we only have 1 bathroom) but he handled it professionally and finished the job quickly. > > We were very thankful for both projects being done well and professionally.
