We ran into issues with our slab sizes not their fault but because of cabinet sizes being different than what was on the plan. Sharon quickly brainstormed and came up with a slab that was very close to the rest of the counters. She quickly was able to order it and finish the job on time. It was done cleanly, and it smoothly passed inspection. One thing I appreciated was that Guy and his team patched and re-textured any holes or walls they had to cut out to do the re-wiring. (Electrical contractors typically don't offer to patch anything. They just leave you with the holes and wires exposed! Gah!!!) Guy's painter did a beautiful job patching and re-texturing everything. No remodeling is going to be easy - after spending $$$ amount of money on your first home you are going to see it torn down to its insulation and bones before it transforms in front of your eyes. > 2\. The company that installed the top (less than a year ago) was "just too busy" to spare anybody (they weren't "too busy" when I was writing them checks for over $6k). Was referred to Sharon Stone and she sent Javier over a couple weeks later (it was a very small chip and I told Sharon that there was no hurry). Javier showed up on time, was very professional, did a great job and was a very pleasant guy to have around for the couple hours he was here. Javier also pointed out to me that the type of granite we used for the counters (quartzite) is prone to chipping and that the edge profile we selected is a bit sharp cornered. He told me that if they had done the job with that material, they would have suggested that we use a slightly rounder profile to reduce the likelihood of chipping.
