> Palindrome is a dream to work with. I recommend Christine to all my friends; her instincts are always right. Would never leave!

**★★★★★ — Lisa Herndon, Jan. 2018**

> We hired Christine, owner of Palindrome Design, to completely redesign our house that we had purchased a few years prior. This was our first time working with a designer but we had our own sense of style that Christine worked with and enhanced with her unique and cohesive vision for our home. She always presented several options for each room that we were able to choose from so that we also felt like we "owned" the design. We couldn't be happier with the end result and the process. We also appreciate how classic the overall design is for us so that we feel like we can live with it for a long time. She is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend her!

> It is hard to fathom the level of detail, organization, and knowledge that must be interwoven with an overarching level of creativity to manifest the perfect new construction interior design project - BUT Christine makes it all look EASY.
>
> From the moment that Christine became part of our design-build team, she listened to our overall design, budget and schedule requirements; AND THEN DELIVERED A CONCISE PATH TO ACHIEVE ALL OF OUR GOALS. She worked seamlessly within any and all of our pre-determined design selections to integrate, complement and achieve THE ULTIMATE INTERIOR.
>
> I would recommend Palindrome Design to anyone who desires a professional team member who can work with clients, builders and subcontractors, alike, to manifest your dream project - on time, on budget and on point.

> We have worked with other designers in the past and I have to say that our experience with Christine has been the most positive (and fun!) one we have had. From the beginning she took the time to genuinely understand our style and goals we had for our basement renovation and redesign. She took her time listening to us and really understood how we wanted to live and use our space — from entertaining to everyday living with our children. She is exacting with her measurements, takes time to double check to make sure all her orders are correct, and communicates with you ever step of the way. Throughout the project she ensured that we stayed within our budget and was always thinking of ways we could maximize the pieces we already had to work with. The basement turned out spectacularly and it is now the trophy space within our home.
>
> We had such a great experience with Christine that when we decided we were ready to begin redesigning our main level, that we immediately called her. She knew our style and it was like she already had an entire vision for the space. As we near completion of this project we can say that we would recommend a partnership with Christine on any design plans you have for your own home or business. She is meticulous, innovative, and I always know that she is looking out for our best interests.

> We brought Christine aboard to help us design and decorate a new home that we were building. At our initial meeting, she was extremely prepared and organized. She listened closely to what our needs would be and what our taste was aesthetically. She met with us and the builder on the job site throughout our project and given her attention to detail, she made some changes to the building that significantly improved our home. (ie. she caught windows that needed to be enlarged, she added lighting, she helped design the entry wainscoting, etc) She was very good at listening to what we wanted but also gave us ideas and encouragement to think outside of our comfort zone. She is warm, responsive and budget conscious. If she didn't know the answer to anything she would consult with another professional to ensure we were making the right decision. This built a great amount of trust between us all. This process can be very stressful for many but we never felt this way given her talent and skills. She made us feel completely relaxed and cared for during the process. The end result is a home that has exceeded our expectations. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Christine as we continue to add layers and dimensions to the interior. We enthusiastically give Christine our highest recommendation!

> Christine Philip has been an extraordinary asset to our recent home renovation. She's warm and funny and wonderful to work with. She's also organized, efficient, and good communicator. Most importantly, she has terrific ideas, and our home looks fabulous. She really listened to us about our taste and our lifestyle, and was quite adept at coming up with multiple options at different price points. Part of our project was a basement renovation, and while we wanted it to look spectacular, we really wanted to stick to a budget, and I never felt pressured to spend a fortune. She had wonderful and surprisingly affordable design ideas for us. And elsewhere, in places where we wanted to be a bit more meticulous and high-end, she knew what to suggest, and what to keep in mind so we didn't waste that money. We can't recommend her highly enough!

> I have been working with Christine for a little over a year now to completely decorate my new townhouse in Alexandria, VA. It's been a great experience. As a single guy, I wanted something nice and upscale but I also wanted it to reflect my personality. Christine has pushed me out of my comfort zone and beyond anything I would have done on my own. Now, as we are almost finished, I love the way my house has come together and everyone who comes over compliments everything about it.

> We collaborated on a project with Christine recently…together we made our clients' dream home become a reality. Christine's incredible attention to detail, scale, colors, and textures made this home exceptionally elegant. Christine is also extremely responsive and accessible via phone and email. If you are looking for an interior designer with an amazing personality and design sense who will listen to you and your needs, Christine is the perfect fit. I highly recommend working with her!

> We have had excellent experiences with Christine as a designer and overall professional. She has managed her contractors with grace and determination to make sure that we, as clients, were fully satisfied. She is very easy to work with, is extremely knowledgable about options for difficult design areas, and always makes me feel confident that the job will be done within budget and on time. For part of a recent project, where we needed to make sure that our bedroom remained dark in the mornings when the sun rises so early, we had to redo our beautiful window treatment. She came up with a less expensive and definitely workable solution, different from what the drapery professionals had initially suggested, and just as beautiful as the original design. I would recommend Christine in a heartbeat!

**★★★★★ — Michael Hampton Design, Nov. 2014**

> Christine has developed a very successful design studio based on her wonderful ability to work closely with all of her clients and provide them with personalized and professional service. Working in a variety of design styles and budgets ranging from low to high, Christine delivers consistent quality to each of her projects resulting in comfortable rooms, elegant style and extremely happy clients.

**★★★★★ — Vital Organizing, Nov. 2014**

> Christine has both an excellent design vision and a level of professionalism that I admire. She has designed the interior for a client of mine who I was assisting with a relocation to a smaller, more urban home. Using the client's general ideas as a jumping off point, Christine created inspired design solutions for the entire house. She worked patiently and persistently with the client's tight time constraints. Her design has made the space beautiful and functional and the client is very happy with the results.

**★★★★★ — Overmyer Architects, Oct. 2014**

> Christine is a delight to work with and has consistently brought extraordinary results that both complete and complement our architecture.
