Can I get specs. I'm an architect. Looking for solar shades; motorized; and with a self-fabric valence. How deep are the motorized mounts? are they attached to the window reveal soffit or sides? how many windows can be run on one control? How deep are the shaded unmotorized? Can valance be mounted in window reveal so that it is flush to face of wall A: Hi Herzig, these shades are manufactured in Florida. Yes, specs are available upon consult and agreement on specific system that would be used. We offer more than one motor ( DC, low-voltage and AC power) and bracket systems in order to be able to meet various customization requirements. Motor mounts depend on window size requirements, but range from 2 1/2" - 6" in depth. These can be ceiling mounted, within a reveal and face mounted, which ever the area permits us to do. Controls can be RF Remote and Wall Switch operated with single channel remote and/or Multi-Channel remotes from 4 and Up. Manual/ Unmotorized roller shades range from 2 1/2" - 4" depending on height of shade. Fascias/Valances can be flush mounted as long as reveal and bracket allowances meet our requirements. Paint color? Lamps? Help!! A: Shorter drapery rods, darker lamps and a bit less accessories on sofas. Light bulbs shouldnt be so strong, brightness is taking away of overall look. **Q: Window Treatment/Table Help** *(in Design Dilemma)* We have this odd hallway at the top of the stairs in our house- it doesn't lead to anything but a window. We currently have two chairs and picture up (one with lady's back facing you). Around the corner is another picture (lady standing up). Trying to figure out a good table to put under the picture and window treatment suggestions. Pictures attached include: 1\. Shot from stairs of two chairs and picture 2\. Fabric on chairs 3\. Picture in between chairs with lady's back facing you 4\. Picture around corner with lady standing up (can't see both at the same time unless you're standing at the corner) Suggestions welcome! We like the artwork and chairs, and don't really want to change them- but want to add more to make it feel finished! A: I feel a satin-metallic petite pirouette would soften that window while still giving you some protection for your painting from UV, looks too busy with the 2" blind look. The petite pirouette gives you a 4" option in vanes and has a nice selection of fabrics that I'm would compliment the chairs. **Q: POLL: Household TVs** *(in Polls)* Fall TV is right around the corner! Window treatment** *(in Design Dilemma)* I am changing out all the oak around this window and switching it to a painted Tahitian vanilla. I need to figure out a window treatment before I do all this so I can take down the existing one and be ready to put up a new one. This window looks out onto road so I need to put up a window treatment for privacy as soon as I can. I don't want to take anything down or change the trim until I figure this out! The windows open out and the hardware is at the base of the window so don't know how to get shutters or blinds on them. Any suggestions for the room: windows or furniture layout? A: TDBU Shades (as rinqreation mentioned)are great for privacy, filters light thru and still gives you the ability to see out, without having any large stack issues that can be an eye sore at times.
