**★★★★★ — Petrice Espinosa, July 2025**

> We had the pleasure of working with Chris on the design of an addition to our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We added 6 feet to the back of our house, creating a more open kitchen/dining room/family room space. We also completely redesigned the primary bath and closet space. From the very first meeting, Chris listened carefully to our ideas, needs, and concerns, and translated them into a design that was both functional and beautiful.
>
> His creativity, attention to detail, and ability to blend the new spaces seamlessly with the existing structure truly impressed us. Throughout the process, Chris was responsive, collaborative, and thoughtful—always keeping our vision and budget in mind.
>
> The final design has completely transformed our primary living space in the best way. We now have spaces that feel cohesive, full of light, and perfectly suited to how we live. We’re so grateful for Chris' talent and professionalism, and we highly recommend him to anyone considering a home project.

**★★★★★ — Nifer Hoehn, Feb. 2024**

> Chris has worked on a few projects for us, and is very good at redesigning and envisioning a space. He is easy to work with, communicates well, prompt, knowledgeable, and a really great person. We had one project that required a lot of structural work, and another that was a complete redesign of an existing space. We used Chris on both projects, and couldn't be happier with his work.

**★★★★★ — Steven M, April 2020**

> Chris worked with us designing an attached garage and mudroom, along with improvements to adjacent rooms. He took the time to listen to us and understand our needs. He spent a lot of time walking the property with us and getting a feel for the place. He also wasn't afraid to present ideas that weren't perfectly in line with what we had expressed, as he understands the creative process requires opening your mind.
>
> Chris understood that we wanted as much space as possible, without the garage being the focal point when arriving at the property. He succeeded in that goal, giving us a design that was spacious without being obtrusive. We are very happy with the results.
>
> Chris was always quick to return calls, answered our dumb questions without judgement, and quickly incorporated changes into the drawings. Chris was also instrumental in finding us a builder who was willing to do the job at a reasonable price.

**★★★★★ — brianp0328, April 2018**

> I had a difficult addition to be built to my home and chris came in and made it seem easy for us. Came up, measured what we wanted came up with blue prints and drawings which gave us a great visual of what we would expect in finish product. Chris also stuck by us to answer all the questions until project was complete. Great job HIGHLY recomend his skills.

**★★★★★ — merlena21, March 2018**

> We hired Chris as the architect for a large addition to our home in 2016. We chose him after interviewing a few other potential architects based on his experience and great personality. He was excellent to work with. Specifically, he was responsive, timely, fun to work with, focused on our needs, and most importantly came up with a beautiful plan for us even in our space challenged situation. A huge bonus is that he is a great guy!

**★★★★★ — Noel Howe, Jan. 2018**

> My husband is a builder and he wanted an exceptional, timely and easy to work with architect and had be referred to Chris Carey. Our experience working with him on our dream home met these expectations. We wanted to build something unique. A greek-revival style farmhouse and barn with specific parameters that only a builder understands. Chris was a pleasure to work with. He worked efficiently and skillfully to deliver the design that matched our expectations. We would recommend him to anyone!

**★★★★★ — tucker8762, Dec. 2015**

> We recently worked with Christian on a new home build as the contractor. The schedule was condensed due to the fact the home owners original house burned down. So a quick turn around was essential. Christian worked hard and turned a beautiful design for the new home around quickly, complete with great detail. Pleasure working with him and look forward to working with Christian Carey Architect again soon!

**★★★★★ — bnostrand, Nov. 2015**

> Chris designed an "overflow" cottage for our families summer residence on Lake Champlain. We gave him some tough requirements that the cottage would fit the land, the existing house and the overall spirit of the family. Chris came up with a great cottage that we enjoy immensely. He also was very good at listening to any tweaks and changes we had and making them.

> I have had the pleasure of working with Christian on several projects. He is a results oriented architect offering creative solutions to his customers dreams being one of his best assets. Christian is easy to work with and can meet an challenge head on with excellence. Anyone in MA or VT looking for a design professional this is your guy!

**★★★★★ — TNT General Contracting Inc., July 2015**

> Choosing an Architect is almost like dating. You have to make sure they and the client are a good fit not just within their visions of what the project is suppose to look like but also by the way they interact together. Both parties need to be good at two things, telling a clear story of what's to be and more importantly listening to the story being told. Chris does a fantastic job at reading the room and what the client is like. He takes the time to listen and then repeat back in his own words what was being described to make sure he has a solid grasp of the concept. His willingness to put in the up front time to make sure the job is a good fit for both parties is why I will use him again and again in the future. His concept to paper skills are spot on and his knowledge of the building codes to field reality make him easy for my team at TNT General Contracting Inc to work with. He designs in reality and is good at helping clients understand those realities. I highly recommend Christian C. Carey for anyone that wants to work with a true professional in the Architecture world.

**★★★★★ — williamograham, Sept. 2014**

> We worked with Chris on the design of our new home build in Stowe, Vermont and it was a very pleasant experience. He listened to our design ideas and worked closely with us to mold our dream into a workable reality. He provided useful suggestions to improve cost efficiency without sacrificing aesthetics. I highly recommend.
