## Community Q&A

**Q: Need Help with 60s House** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are purchasing a house built in 1960, and I am lost at what to do with the kitchen and bathrooms.  I want to preserve the kitchen cabinets in the natural wood, and I do not want granite counters or tile floors.  
Also, the bathrooms are tile in very good shape,and I would like to keep the tile.  However, I need help with the mirror in the pink and gray one and ANY ideas on the yellow and turquoise bathroom.

A: Paint, Counters, Appliances and Backsplash will bring it up to date but if the budget fits demo and renovate. Light, white and modern is my suggestion. Thermofoil cabinets are a great option.
