## Community Q&A

**Q: 99 colors of paint on the wall... please help!!** *(in Paint)*

Ok, so I’m actually already past the 99 colors of paint on the wall, but sure enough that happened. I read. I researched. I considered my fixed elements (kitchen in particular, but red-toned floors too) I looked at camp chroma and home bunch and Houzz and Pinterest - and here I am.
Trim: white dove (looks gray?!?)
Walls: dove wing (looks yellow?!?)
Together: looks... ???
It’s driving me bonkers. FYI, it’s all open to each other - the eating area is open to the kitchen which leads to the family room.
Any thoughts or suggestions? If the suggestion is an alternate paint color, I prefer to change the walls than the trim. 
Also, no furniture is necessarily a keeper at this point, so open to suggestions on layout, furniture, accessories, etc. I will say I’m partial to the rug...

A: You do have very warm light in this space which is likely why the dove wing is pulling yellow. Maybe try Chantilly lace or even a brighter white like Decorators white. I’d recommend ordering a few peel and stick samples from www.hello-paint.ca  they will be large enough to see the true color and they are easy to move around the room and gauge the change due to lights ect.

**Q: What color paint??** *(in Polls)*

I am a gray fan as much as my husband is beige so we decided to jumb on the greige train for our new house.  The common area gets its light from a wall of east facing window.  Which color will be best for this area?? Also taking suggestions.

A: If you are still on the fence, you could check out www.hello-paint.ca for large format peel and stick paint samples. Our clients have found them very helpful in the past.

A: Hi! Sorry! These lights were supplied by the homeowner who actually owns his own electrical supply company.

A: I believe it is.  We were not involved in the countertops, but my recollection is that that’s correct.

**Q: Help with vanity mirror please?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are looking for very clean lines no frame no bevel
The recessed (no bevel) medicine cabinet 15 x 30 will be to the right just above the light switch.
Would love suggestions on the size of the mirror over the sink.
Should the top line up with top of the medicine cabinet or just under the light fixture? Should it go all across the length of the vanity or have some space at the sides?
Vanity: 41" wide X 23" deep

A: Too the wall and the the ceiling. Have them cut a hole for the light and mount it on top.

**Q: Kitchen remodel on a budget** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I want to keep my kitchen cabinets but will replace the counters tops and later flooring.  I posted the same kitchen pictures a year or so again and still cannot visually picture what to do. Help please.

A: Maybe new cabinet doors if that's in your budget.....
