I love to listen to my clients and help them define their style. After one of our meetings wraps up, I want to feel like we can go grab lunch together. By understanding the intimacies of how they live and including them in the process, we create a space they can feel excited about living in for years.  

I service a broad range of clientele in the greater DC metro area and specialize in interpreting my clients' individual styles and translating their ideas into uniquely designed spaces.

**Q: copper Bar top?** *(in Photo Questions)*

It looks like you have a copper bar top. How did you make that happen? Thank you!

A: It IS copper.  It was sheet copper and we had a metalsmith wrap it and weld the seams.

Can you give some details on the wallpaper?

A: It is Thibaut and the pattern is called Augustine.

A: Gosh I never saw this question. Mirror is from Oomph- custom color.

A: Thank you Miko.  This was Philip Jeffries Extra Fine Arrowroot (1744) in Dove/Harbor Blue.

**Q: Which vanity mirror?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Below is a pic of my master vanity.  How do I design the mirror?  The light has to be at the top.  Do I ....

1\. frame out the whole back with a light IN the mirror and no wall showing?  

2\. Or, place the frame just below the light out with a 2" frame and a little bit of wall around it?

A: I like having no wall showing.  You get a clean look and get double the light because of the reflection.  The only downside is the cost of drilling the holes.  Pretty space!

**Q: bad tile job?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I came home to what I consider a very bad tile job. There are spots like this all over the 8x5 shower walls.  Does this need to totally redone?

A: This niche is done nicely. Different from original one discussed.
