**★★★★★ — True North Building Company, Sept. 2023**

> I love my cabinets from Executive Cabinetry! We built our home close to eight years ago and they still look brand new. We are planning to build another home next year and will be looking for a dealer who works with Executive in our new town. We know the product and we won’t settle for less in our custom home!

**★★★★★ — Macan Cabinetry, March 2023**

> I've been in the kitchen business over 25 years. Executive Cabinetry is one of the top kitchen manufacturers that I use because of there quality product and excellent service. I would highly recommend.

**★ — toothmonger, Aug. 2021**

> Poor quality, poor customer support, poor dealers. Nothing good I can say at all about this company. I started a kitchen redo last summer and have finally given up on the final details. I only wish I hadn't blindly trusted the "salesman" and did my due diligence.

**Comment from Executive Cabinetry:**

> With no details, or contact info, it's difficult to respond. Please send me an email at sales@essentialcabinetrygroup.com providing more specifics regarding your issues.

**★ — ozeoze\_gm, July 2021**

> Our experience with Executive cabinetry has been a 5-year odyssey/nightmare of initial poor quality, some attempts by Executive's manufacturer's representative to repair/replace defective cabinets and drawer fronts, and frustration that we were most recently told (in 2020) that some replacements were at the local dealer (ILG, Las Vegas) ready for installation, but being unable to contact the dealer to check whether that was the case for almost a year to date. The manufacturer's representative who provided some help during the first 3 to 4 years is no longer with Executive and we are stuck with expensive delaminated cabinets, doors and drawer fronts. We paid a significant amount to our builder for these "upgrades" but received an industry sub-standard product. Interestingly, other foil-laminated cabinetry from a local manufacturer, installed in separate areas of our home, has been faultless! The majority of the Executive installation delaminated rapidly once our home was completed, some doors and drawer fronts were replaced by Executive, others had the foil re-glued on site by the sales representative, and yet others are still delaminated and currently delaminating. The "lifetime warranty" is meaningless when nobody can be contacted to respond and address the problem. Despite other posts to the Houzz site, often from Executive Cabinetry dealers extolling the quality of the product, our experience has been of a sub-standard product, with poor after-sales service, and a warranty that doesn't protect the original purchaser. Just try to have your problems addressed — problems will occur if our experience is as close to typical as other consumer posts to this site suggest! Good luck with your "lifetime warranty".

**Comment from Executive Cabinetry:**

> I am sorry you have had these issues with your kitchen. Please reach out to me directly at chrisw@executivecabinetry.com with any un-resolved concerns.

> We ordered white upper and black lower cabinets from a local distributor and the recommendation of our contractor. The lower cabinets were fine. We noticed all the white uppers were delaminating after they were hung. Six weeks later we received replacements for the defective cabinets. All of those had the same problem. Four weeks after that - today actually - we received another replacement order. These were supposedly checked by the Director of Quality at Executive. More than a third were delaminating, the others were poorly put together. The quality of their product certainly doesn't match the price I paid. Would have been better off getting cabinets from a home improvement store!

**★★★★★ — Kitchen and Bath Studios Inc, May 2020**

> Kitchen and Bath Studio's Inc, has built a great relationship with Executive Cabinetry and sold cabinets to many happy clients. We have recommended Executive because of their wide selection of door styles, finishes and short delivery times. We hope to continue working with Executive Cabinetry for many years.

**★★★★★ — Michael Laursen, April 2020**

> I have been selling Executive Cabinetry for several years now. My business keeps growing with them. They build a very high quality cabinet. The design options are equal to high end brands at an affordable cost. Customer service is outstanding. They are quick to respond and always take care of any issues.

**★★ — ekprokocki, Dec. 2019**

> Can’t get ahold of anyone at this company to find a local dealer to help replace some existing cabinetry. Frustrating that they don’t respond to emails and their call tree doesn’t provide much in terms of options. Anyone know a dealer in Denver before I just replace them with something else?

**Comment from Executive Cabinetry:**

> Apologies for the trouble you experienced reaching us. We made some recent changes to our admin for this site and i think that interrupted our messages. If you are still interested, please send me a direct email at chrisw@executivecabinetry.com and I will get you pointed in the right direction. Again, apologies for the delay. Not our intent.

> Overall Five Stars!
>
> Upon first sight, my spec cabinets and laminate in kitchen and bathroom looked great. However, there were several problems which Executive Cabinetry fixed to the highest standards. Those problems appeared to be complete one-offs, so I wasn't concerned that it reflected the overall product. I highly recommend this company for overall service.

**★ — Dwight Seward, Oct. 2018**

> Without a doubt one of the worst experiences I have had on 6 custom homes I have built.
>
> The dealer made more than its fair share of errors, but the comments that follow only pertain to Executive.
>
> Shortly after installation of an entire houseful of cabinets that included a good amount of built-in pieces, the dealer was notified that all painted door and drawer fronts had a quality control issue. All cabinets in the home were painted except for my office and a powder room vanity.
>
> As such, all those pieces were to be replaced. The items were all remade. Part of the shipment ended up being back-ordered. Other items were not made as originally specified. Some of this information was revealed after having installers at the house for better part of a week. Some items were damaged as they were not shipped with the same level of protection and care as the initial order.
>
> But it gets worse. Most of the cabinets in the house are white and the the door and drawer fronts shipped and installed did not match on color. We ordered a custom shade of white and the cabinet frames and end panels were all fine. The replacements were different shades.
>
> One factory rep tried to say it was light and shadows which was a bunch of crap. Everyone that set foot in the house could see the issue. Even a house painter on the project joked that " a blind man with a bucket on his head could see there was a problem."
>
> After keeping up the pressure on the GC and dealer, the factory sent a VP to the site, We did a full survey of the home using a reference sample and identified all items that were not an acceptable match, That would probably be well over half of the doors and drawers. A finisher was sent to prep and re-shoot the pieces. As he returned the items, he asked us to look over each of them to make sure all was fine. My wife and I thought the finish on the back of a few were off and the guy said he would take care of it.
>
> The following day, we are notified that the factory will not re-finish backs of doors as that was not in scope. Executive tells us that the back of white doors are painted with a shade of white that is close but not the same as what we ordered, That was never disclosed and certainly flies in the face of having a custom color. The VP that came to the house and did the survey with the dealer and GC said they were to re-shoot the doors and do what it took to make us happy.
>
> So, then my wife have to deal with some back and forth argument for days with a factory, the GC and dealer. Eventually the factory agreed to do the backs of doors (most of those in question were in high visibility areas).
>
> But what crappy customer service. It simply added insult to injury since the original pieces were not right and the issues were not flagged at sanding, paint or final QC steps. And then all the QC misses on the items being re-ordered-- paint color, missing items, incorrectly made items,
>
> Almost 6 months after moving into the home, we are still dealing with some cabinet issues. After the dealer's staff did poor work, another person was brought in by the GC and there are a few loose ends to tie up.
>
> Mistakes happen. But this is on a level that is beyond the pale. I would never consider Executive nor the dealer in the future.

**Comment from Executive Cabinetry:**

> Dwight, thank you for your feedback. We have acknowledged, and owned from the beginning, that your project was not without concerns. We, along with our dealer partner, addressed those concerns aggressively. We made multiple visits to your house for review and strategy, including sending a Director from our factory. Finally, we placed our best finish technician onsite for 2 weeks. We even agreed, in good faith, to work beyond the scope of our product specification and warranty responsibility to accommodate your requests. We apologize, again, for any inconvenience but hope you can now step back and see that we stood behind our product and the cabinetry is a great fit in your beautiful home. Thank you for the opportunity.

**★ — Tim Hess, Sept. 2018**

> \* Update December 2018, Executive has made no effort to resolve the issues with my cabinets. We have had additional issues with painted surfaces streeking after 3-6 months. Replacement parts continue to come in damaged and unusable. The process with them has been horrible. We are approaching a year and a half and the project is still not completed.
>
> I would strongly recommend not using Executive Cabinetry. The entire project has been a disaster from the initial shipment through the YEAR long process to get the correct & undamaged cabinets from them.
>
> We ordered from them in August 2017 and the first delivery was mid-October 2017. The boxes were not damaged and I helped unload them from the truck it was several pallets of cabinets.
> Once we started to install we found many defects in the cabinets. Several cabinets were damaged and it was clear that they were damaged prior to being packaged. We ordered Walnut and Painted shaker cabinets. 25% of the painted cabinets were defective as they were packaged still wet and the paint had stuck to the cardboard boxes and had lines across the paint matching the corrugate of the boxes. Our designer placed a warranty order for the new items and we were told that they would be ready by December.
>
> A few weeks after the initial installation we noticed that the doors started rattling. On 60% of all of the fronts, the middle panel was loose and rattled when you opened them up. I also looked at installing pulls in the drawers. The sample we looked at prior to ordering was reversed raised the items that were delivered we not. There was a large gap between the 1/4 middle of the drawer front and the drawer box. No one from Executive could explain how to install drawer pulls without warping the front panel back to the drawer. Our designer placed a new order for all the rattling door and cabinet fronts.
>
> For the delivery of items that arrived in December, we again had damaged boxes and paint sticking to the cardboard boxes. Having the kitchen ready for the Holidays was now not going to happen. The panels for the back of the Island were damaged again and several of the walnut pieces had the grain running in the opposite direction of the other cabinets of similar size. We installed the final base for our bench seat and went to unbox the top only to discover that they had packaged it damaged too. They had sanded through the top surface and still finished and shipped it. It had scratched and a chip in the surface too.
>
> A 3rd/4th order was placed for the damaged items and they decided to replace all fronts with Reversed raised fronts so that door pulls could be installed so you could actually open them up! We also had 4 drawer boxes ordered. This order had the most issues. The 4 drawer boxes were shipped without any padding and smashed against each other and all 4 were destroyed. They shipped the replacement walnut fronts with a different style than the style we ordered. The new style was not even a style that Executive makes. They could not explain how this happened. Also, 1 of the pieces still had paint marks from sticking to the cardboard. Some of the drawer fronts were not reverse raised fronts and several didn't come with the plastic inserts to install the hardware. None of the pieces had the clear bumpers. This all arrived in February 2018.
>
> We then ordered replacements for all of these items that arrived in March. The panel for the island arrived incorrectly again, and we noticed during this install that one of the upper cabinets next to the hood had holes in it where Executive had filled in with a filler that shrank. The holes are clearly a mistake and the piece should not have been used they were nowhere near an area that needed to be drilled, screwed or doweled.
>
> A finisher tried to come and fix this cabinet but was unable to do the close proximity to the hood.
>
> We ordered additional trim pieces and light rail pieces and this new cabinet in May.
>
> In July 2018 this cabinet arrived damaged as they stuck the shelves inside of it prior to shipping with just the pins holding them up. The shelves were damaged, the inside was damaged and cracked.
>
> In September 2018 the correct cabinet arrived undamaged and was installed. 11 months after the first installation.
>
> As we were cleaning the dust off of the cabinets we noticed that one of the upper fronts now has a crease in the middle panel.
>
> At this point, I would like to have Executive come and pick up all the cabinets and get my money back as I feel that issues will continue to pop up. I have spent 115 hours working on the warranty replacement of these cabinets monitoring installations and have had to pay for many extra runs to the recycle center for truckloads of cardboard after each installation. I could fill this site with pictures of the damaged, poorly made, horribly packaged, products. Executive clearly has a major issue with its quality control and process improvement processes, I truly do not understand how they are able to stay in business given the breadth and extent of the issues I have dealt with over the last year.

**Comment from Executive Cabinetry:**

> Mr. Hess, we will continuing to work with your local dealer to bring your job to completion. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

**★ — Iya C, Dec. 2017**

> Horrible. The dealer measured and designed incorrectly and we are stuck with useless cabinets that don't fit into our home. The quality is a great disappointment. There are seams and edges with gaps. Chunks of white missing. But worst of all, the dealer is blaming us for their faulty design. We supplied all the dimensions of appliances and requested locations and the appliances don't fit! Waiting to hear back from executive cabinetry to see if they do anything about their incompetent, unprofessional and rude dealers who don't stand behind their work. Worst experience ever! Waste of money. And dealer blames us because we initialed confusing drawings!
> No one has contacted me to help this situation. Your dealer has stolen my money and left me with useless cabinets'

**Comment from Executive Cabinetry:**

> Iya, we are always concerned when a consumer that has purchased our product is not happy. We are aware of the situation and our Regional Sales Manager is involved.

## Community Q&A

**Q: what do you know about the flooring?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Do you have the brand of the flooring? What are these tiles made out of? Any info to help?

A: Keri,

Thanks for the questions. Unfortunately, we simply provide the boxes/cabinets and have no involvement in those selections. Apologies! Thanks for your interest.

Dir of Customer Experience

**Q: Hood** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi,
My customer loves this hood- I see a price tag on it, but its not coming up.
What brand is it?
Thank you

A: Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, this hood was sourced independent of us and we do not have that information. It is a cool hood! Wish I could help. Have a great week!

**Q: What is the cabinet color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Beautiful cabinets. I would like to know the light cabinet color. Not the dark color. Thanks!

A: Cathy,

Thanks for the question. Chalk White would be the paint color. We work through a network of authorized dealers. Please shoot us an email at sales@executivecabinetry.com so we can get you connected! Thanks again...

The Executive Cabinetry Customer Care Team

**Q: window treatment** *(in Photo Questions)*

Trying to replicate this look in my master. My contractor wants to make my window smaller and retrofit to keep the sill at a height where water from the shower can't get to it.
I like the look with the large window. How do you keep it from collecting water when using the shower.

A: Kartik, thanks for the email. Unfortunately, we are just the cabinet vendor. We provide what our dealers order. We are only cabinet experts! A contractor will have to answer that question. Thanks again! Executive Cabinetry

**Q: Hello! What are the dimensions of the installment with sinks?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Also, can you please tell the dimensions of the sinks themselves and dimension between the centers of the sinks?
Thank you!

A: Thanks for the question. As the manufacturer, we don't have those specs available without the dealer info and order information. What I can tell you is we can modify the widths of these cabinets so whatever width you and your designer determine is needed...we can accommodate. The sinks are provided by the dealer/designer so we are not privy to those specifications. If you would like for us to connect you with a dealer, please reach out to me at sales@executivecabinetry.com. Thanks again!

**Q: Beautiful kitchen. Love the cabinets!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are the cabinets stained or natural walnut?

A: Thanks for the question. We recommend the Terra Stain option when trying to achieve a natural Walnut look. The Terra Stain is, in essence, a "toner" that helps balance out the color variation you get with Walnut. This could be either Natural or Terra Stain. Please contact your dealer for samples. Thanks for the opportunity!
