The difficulty of this decision was compounded by the fact that we were still living in Alaska at the time. I researched many builders and finally narrowed the list down to four that I wanted to interview. Paul Beck was the second contractor that I met, and I didn’t look any further. I immediately felt a connection with him, even after only talking about 15 minutes. He was warm, caring, attentive to our needs (which were many), and genuinely interested in what we were trying to achieve. Our initial discussion with him lasted over three hours.
