Bernie was easy to work with, attentive, and listened constructively to all our ideas, then provided advice and guidance on the initial designs for our multipurpose room addition to connect our house with an existing detached garage. Limited as we were by the existing structures, the design and layout were more complicated than most.  None-the-less, Bernie was able to incorporate all of our wish-list to create a functional and beautiful space.  He worked closely with our contractor throughout, and the project was done on budget and with a minimum of delay.  We would not hesitate to recommend him.

**Q: What is the square footage of this room?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello pmwelch. The area is 490 square foot (14' x 35'). The low walls are 5' and slope up to an 8' ceiling height. Thanks for the question.

**Q: Hi Bernie. What's the trim on the window fabricated from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The window trim is made of stucco built-outs. We applied a 1 1/2" foam trim at the sill location and 1" foam trim at the jamb and header locations. Than after the lath was applied 2 layers of stucco was applied. This brought the trim out to create some definition and by usine 1 1/2" at the sill, the trim itself has some defintion to it. This prevents a boring rectangular look around the windows. The style of stucco and the way it was applied almost gives a granular look. There are a lot of cool ideas that can be done with stucco trim that really helps bring the windows details out.
