A: The stone at the entry is original to the house. The specifications book by the architect notes that the stone was to be selected, sampled, and approved so doesn't specify as to exact type. I'm not 100% sure the stone type personally, sorry. **Q: I love the floating cabinet! A: These shelves are in the original drawings of the house an were custom built for the house in 1957. **Q: Please show a picture of the desk, It looks very interesting.** *(in Photo Questions)* A: KOH, the desk is a vintage vanity. The center section of the top (where the laptop resides) hinges up, mirror on the back (bottom) face and a divided tray below for make-up and other items. I suspected Heywood Wakefield originally but I believe that is not true. It's only making is "A6-2.1255" on the bottom. It is well made, solid, dovetail drawers, etc. **Q: What kind of wood and (if so) what kind of glaze (colored or transparent) do you used for the doors?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The doors in the house are original from 1957.
