## Community Q&A

**Q: What is material for balcony railing?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you provide any details and supplier for the balcony railing?

A: It was fabricated using flat iron by a wrought iron fence guy. Not a difficult build for a welder. Thanks

**Q: trellis and beams** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love this house. What material and stain color used for patio’s trellis and beams? Thanks

A: Thanks, we used Western red cedar with ReadyStain dark walnut.

**Q: What is the brand of window? Is window vinyl?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Yes, its vinyl. Krestmark brand.

**Q: Exterior color** *(in Photo Questions)*

What color is white exterior?

A: Sorry, I don't remember the color name. We basically tried to match the window material color. Hope that helps.

**Q: Roof pitch** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the pitch of the roof over the front entry way?

A: Some type of metal standing seam is typical around here. But IMO if you don't have snow lingering/melting on the roof the asphalt should be fine. Make sure your roofer is onboard though.

**Q: Do you recall the board and batten size?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hello just wondering if you remember what size board and batten you guys used here? I love the spacing, looks like at least 12".

A: Since it lies flat against a continuous plywood/OSB surface it is fine. Durability is comparable to Hardi siding.
