As a company of passionate and trusted professionals we see every new project as a unique opportunity to realize the full potential of our clients’ home. Through a methodical collaborative process, we succeed in making the transformed space reflect the spirit and needs of our clients.

Working in people’s homes is a very delicate operation, something which every member of our team understands. The intimate relationships between builder, designer, and client, the invasion of someone’s private space, the sometimes protracted intrusion into family life, can all be challenging elements of the remodeling process.

For those reasons we actively work to learn and understand the specific ways in which our clients live, work and play. We coach our team to be sensitive to the little things; bring the paper into the house in the morning, don’t let the cat out, respect the home as if it were ours.

It is through this thoughtful approach to our work that we live our core values:
Listen. Think. Work. Care. If you are thinking about making changes to your home, for functional or aesthetic reasons, we would love to discuss how our team of experienced craftsmen and women bring a fresh approach to the age old occupation of house-craft.

**★★★★★ — Colin Hand, April 2018**

> A home renovation can be a long and very personal, sometimes emotional experience, so process is just as important as product. Working with Adams and Beasley Associates, the first thing that becomes apparent is the dedication to their work and their clients. It comes through in many facets throughout the project from big picture design and planning to the smallest detailing on the millwork and fixtures. The entire team brings an solution based approach to the project that leads to the highest quality craftsmanship. What is truly refreshing is the positivity and responsiveness they bring to the process, the Adams and Beasley team makes sure their clients' voices are heard and respected. It has been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with them on a handful of projects, and a Blade of Grass would highly recommend ABA for any projects you have in mind.

**★★★★★ — Susan Corson Designs, Aug. 2017**

> I can't say enough about A+B Associates. I worked with them for the first time on a project in Lincoln, MA and I was truly impressed on every level. Their work is first rate and their approach to managing a project is the best I have seen in 30 years. No construction project is without it's issues but the way A+B handles them is so great. I love their weekly updates and every person on their crew was informed and extremely professional. The finished project is a 10!!

**★★★★★ — John Lodge Architects, Feb. 2016**

> I have worked with Nick Beasley on a variety of renovation projects of the last 10 years and I cannot recommend his firm highly enough. He calm, thoughtful demeanor makes working through complicated problems a real pleasure. In addition, his firm's attention to detail is outstanding. I always look forward to going to his jobsites!

**★★★★★ — Emily Foy Drazen, Oct. 2015**

> My wife and I could not have been happier with the experience that we had working with Adams + Beasley Associates (ABA). From the moment we first spoke with Eric Adams until the last "punch list" items were resolved, ABA was thoughtful, professional, responsive, and attentive to the project's myriad of details.
>
> We hired ABA to help us redesign and then renovate a 1910 American Foursquare in Concord, Massachusetts. The key challenge of the project was connecting the original, historic portion of the home to two poorly-conceived additions that were done in the 1960s and 1990s. The finished product is a home that seamlessly integrates the charm and character of the older house and its additions into one cohesive, intuitive space. The transformation of our home was nothing short of stunning.
>
> My wife and I were on a tight timeline because we started our project with ABA in the winter, but we wanted to sell our existing home in the late spring to catch the tail end of the peak home-buying season and then move into our new home shortly thereafter. Despite the relatively large scope of our project in relationship to our aggressive timetable, Eric's team was able to make sure our house was move-in ready by the date they had promised us originally.
>
> Beyond the beauty of their work, ABA is a truly service-oriented firm. Every week of the project we received weekly updates that tracked the progress made that week and the goals for the following week. When one of ABA's carpenters noticed during construction that there was a bird living inside the roof of our house, he placed a birdhouse in a tree next to the house so as to lure the bird to a safe new home. ABA even had staff members on hand the day we moved in to help with odds and ends, such as securing bookshelves, hanging mirrors and helping with furniture assembly. While these may seem like relatively small gestures, they are all representative of ABA's unwavering commitment to getting the details right.
>
> ABA takes enormous pride in their craft. The quality of their work and their dedication to client satisfaction is unmatched. We would highly recommend them to anyone undertaking a renovation project.

> From the first meeting with Eric a couple of years back, I had the most favorable impression of Adams & Beasley. In the end, all of our lofty hopes and expectations were met and exceeded with this project. We cannot be more grateful for the entire team: the highest standard of skill, professionalism, courtesy, flexibility and thoughtfulness.
> Our kitchen is the center of activity in our home, and the new kitchen facilitates great energy and warmth for our family and guests.
> The design and detailed planning was perfect, the quality of the highest caliber, and execution exceptionally efficient.
> The considerable care and commitment made our project a wild success.

**★★★★★ — Hisel Flynn Architects, Sept. 2015**

> Adams + Beasley are truly exceptional contractors. As an architect in the Boston area, I've had the pleasure of working with them on several projects, and I hope to do more. Eric Adams is a consummate professional. Honest, intelligent, and easy to work with, he brings a wonderful attitude to every project, and every challenge. His cost estimates are realistic, accurate evaluations, which often require more research to prepare than other contractor's proposals. This takes time, but saves both time and money in the long run because the work that they do up front pays off down the road.
>
> Eric and his team also do a wonderful job with client service and careful attention to detail. Great communication skills, scheduling and understanding of the building codes, all contribute to a complete service package.
>
> But as an architect, perhaps what I appreciate most is the care and attention to craftsmanship that the whole team at Adams + Beasley brings to every project. They get it all right, the first time.
>
> It is a true pleasure to write this review. I wish all contractors were more like these guys.

> First rate firm. Completed all work on or ahead of schedule and were meticulous and detailed for all scope of work performed. Honored project costs originally provided and were extremely fair with any change orders needed. The whole team cared deeply about project quality and outcome.....I could not have asked for a better company or team!

> We provided electrical services to Adams & Beasley for several projects that they are currently working on. We have worked with Adams & Beasley for many years.

**★★★★★ — cosmo\_iw, June 2015**

> My company Decorator's Workroom has worked on several projects with Adams + Beasley Associates over the past several years. We have found them to be extremely professional in all aspects of their
> work from dealing with the clients to handling all of their subcontractors. They work very hard to meet or exceed all expectations and deadlines. They are very caring about making our job easier on mounting very heavy window treatment by providing the blocking needed. This doesn't sound like much then why don't all contractors care about doing this. The cost of some Luton motorized treatments can run several thousand dollars. This degree of caring carries thru all of their work.

> The team at Adams + Beasley is professional, creative, and knowledgeable in all facets of design and construction. Principals Eric Adams and Angus Beasley guide their team and their subcontractors with leadership that is honest, respectful, and always client-focused. Their designs are always well-informed, enhancing the everyday needs of their clients while remaining committed to incredible aesthetics. Our installers enjoy working with Adams + Beasley because they feel confident with the Designers, Carpenters, and Project Managers and know their work is highly respected, well cared for, and managed efficiently.

> Working with Adams + Beasley was wonderful. I've had several homes built in many different parts of the country. The quality and professionalism is on par with the best. Great craftsmanship, stayed on budget ( minor miracle), and finished the job on time( Miracle).

 - Location: Boston, MA
 - Photos: 9
 - Description: ABA was tasked with removing a dark and poorly designed kitchen in a compact loft space, and to replace with an open, flexible and unique space that reflects the client's artistic style. Our solution was to merge a low, heavy soffit into the wall plane with plaster 'ribbons' to create a seamless transition. Paired with pantry towers and a statement backsplash made of soapstone, the result was a modern, subtle kitchen that fully integrates with the living space and creates a bright and open work…
- [Rustic Farm Retreat](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/rustic-farm-retreat-pj-vj~2850769)
 - Location: Lincoln, MA

 - Description: Coming into this welcoming 1820s farmhouse is now a joy with a new potting-mudroom, and cold storage for root vegetables. The new hexagonal kitchen addition feels open to the outside with lift-and slide windows that move at the touch of a finger, opening to the terraced farm vista below. Rustic and earthy tones abound throughout the kitchen, with a new walk-in pantry with custom pullouts for spice storage, pot hangers and corner pantry storage. A rough-hewn ashlar stone backsplash is set off by…
- [Grand Estate](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/grand-estate-pj-vj~2850931)
 - Location: Wellesley, MA
 - Photos: 21
 - Description: This opulent home had all the trappings of a manor estate, with the exception of the relatively small and dated kitchen and dining area and some serious water damage throughout. The clients saw this as an opportunity to achieve a conservatory-like living space with large, custom designed casement windows throughout, and two breathtaking skylights in both the kitchen and dining room. Custom details were designed and crafted to match the quality and scale of the overall house, including radiant in…

 - Description: This project was an ambitious full 5-story gut remodel in the heart of Beacon Hill. The existing property was poorly laid out, rarely updated and needed some serious opening up and TLC. The result, after some structural, HVAC and plumbing changes, is a modern home that pays homage to the building's storied past. Photography by Eric Roth
- [Charming Bungalow](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/charming-bungalow-pj-vj~554795)
 - Location: Needham, MA

 - Description: Great lengths were taken to transform the dark divided interior of a 1920’s Arts and Crafts style bungalow into a modern 21st Century open concept living space, while restoring the exterior to its early 20th Century charm. To accomplish this interior transformation several load-bearing partition walls were removed to visually connect spaces and let light from the perimeter spaces flood into the center of the home. In the modern kitchen, a combination of custom and preassembled casework was incor…

 - Location: Carlisle, MA

 - Description: This enclosed, dark kitchen was transformed by removing walls and closets. The clients loved entertaining, and to minimize cost we strategically re-used cabinets where possible and modified existing ones. Along with the kitchen opening up, a mudroom was added in some under-utilized entry space, and a barn door was installed to add privacy on the second-floor media room.

A large central gallery flooded with gorgeous diffused light through two full stories of window glass. Clean linear millwork details compliment the structural glass, steel and walnut balustrades and handrailings that grace the upper gallery, reading nook, and stairs. Every inch was carefully considered in this one-plus bedroom Back Bay condominium to fully utilize available square footage by creating multi- functional spaces and pieces that enhance the beauty of our client living spa…

 - Description: Interior Design by Lewis Interiors This bright and playful luxury condominium was blessed with a spectacular terrace view, and ideal location in the heart of the Back Bay. However, it was suffering from an awkward layout and a dated interior design. It was brought up to a more contemporary, subdued color palette accented by bright art and furnishings. Tactics such as redirecting the plumbing to open up a galley kitchen, increasing storage to a full-wall of built-in closet space in the master sui…

Patched damaged original european oak parquet floors, matched and installed legacy trim and turnings, added wall cov…

 - Description: A full master suite remodel in this gracious Charlestown row house started as a panicked call for help with a serious water leak, which turned out to be caused by a shower pan improperly installed (by a previous builder!). We were conscripted to repair extensive damage to their second, first, and garden level finishes, which included wood and tile flooring, plaster, trim and paint. In addition, we needed to remediate significant rotting in long soaked framing members. The homeowners made the bes…

Working closely with the interior design team, we removed the existing beige and taupe finishes, mismatched millwork and replaced heavy fixtures with clean, elegant, and bright ones. The beveled edge white marble wainscoting softened the walls, added depth and contrast to the calm soft blue wall color, which also picked up in the mosaic floor tile. The custom soft white v…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Where do I get the table below the TV?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi, the drawer-table is custom millwork built-in.

**Q: Where did you buy the gold wall flush panel? Hard to find in gold!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Looking to find the source of purchase for the gold wall mount flush panel for the wall mounted toilet. Difficult to find in that color.

A: Hi,
Unfortunately this is not actually gold, it is Gerberit's Satin Nickel, which does have a warmer tone, but definitely silver.

**Q: What's the color of the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the cabinets. Who makes them and and what about the color details?

A: Thank you for asking. These were built in-house by our own millwork team. The finish is a multi-step process of bleaching white oak veneer, and creating a custom brushed and cerused finish.

**Q: Where is hardware from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I like the pull hardware you have on the cabinetry. Where is it from?

A: These are from Sun Valley Hardware \#CK-535

**Q: Love the pantry. What are the dimensions of this pantry?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Please give the dimensions of the overall room and cabinets and shelves.
Thanks

A: This is approximately 8'6" x 5' wide.

**Q: Light fixture** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the light fixture. Who makes it?

A: Thanks for asking! This is from Pottery Barn, Dalia Chandelier.
