The underlying concrete had some cracks and other surface imperfections, but since it was essentially in good shape we decided that resurfacing with an acrylic-based overlay would be a cost-effective way to preserve the concrete and also dramatically improve the aesthetics. After interviewing and receiving bids from 4 contractors, and speaking with references, we selected Alonzo Deck Resurfacing. Their price was fair and materials and job specifications were of high quality. Joe Alonzo and his team just completed the work on time and on budget and did an absolutely outstanding job. They filled in the few cracks and leveled off several areas to get a more uniform surface and good drainage. For the pool deck, Alonzo used a saw cut scoring system which gave the area more visual interest. The results are even better than we expected - the pool deck and patio now look beautiful and confirm that we made the right decision.
