It had the typical yellow laminate countertop with an over-mount sink, ugly faucet and "walnut" vanity. I wanted a light, bright modern look without spending a fortune. I called GT of Chico and the salesperson came out to my house and showed me various options which would provide me the most value and still get the look I wanted. It was nice to find out that they could also provide a new undermount sink and faucet and install the whole thing in a couple of hours. They helped me select a beautiful, bright white recycled glass material for my counter. The installers were very professional, careful and quick.. also didn't make a big mess. Done in about 2 hours. Everyone I had contact with at GT was very friendly and helpful. When I went to sell my house a few months later, potential buyers all commented on that beautiful bathroom counter and wanted to know what it was. It definitely helped me sell my house. They were courteous and were willing to work with me on finding a price that worked for my project. I really enjoyed their representative and the time they spent with me as a potential costumer. In the end I did not use them only because we wanted a color they did not supply. But my experience with them was better than great. My comment is not related to the company but to the reoccurrence of their ad as I am trying to look for garden inspiration. I used "wow gardens" as a filter to be inspired for spring gardening, unfortunately the ad for Granite Transformations appears every 7-10 images!!! An ad nothing to do with gardens. It's a real distraction and if I had not had such wonderful experiences with the company I would NEVER call the company due to my irritation of seeing the same ad 10 times in one setting. I hired Granite Transformations and, after looking through sooooo many options, elected to go with white recycled glass countertops and a dark finish on the refacing of the cabinets. I also increased storage by buying 6 unfinished under counter cabinets at a box store and stacking them against a facing wall to become my new pantry. I left for work as Granite Transformations showed up to start work and returned home to a brand new kitchen. So fast and so easy and looks great. More than a year later everything looks as good as the day they went in. This stuff is indestructible - nothing stains (and I am the opposite of careful with these things - eg. spilt red wine has sat on the countertops for days at a time).
