They do not stand behind their work, even when it is written in the contract. > > We spent $5,500 the beginning of February 2023 to make our gardens "picture perfect". The initial completion looked fine. > After 6 weeks the yard was not maintaining the weed free look that was guaranteed in the contract and a 6' holly bush was dead,. A picture was sent for verification of the dead bush. Multiple phone calls with communication detailing the work that was not done according to the contract went on " we do not care" ears. Jason never returned my calls. The office staff had the same response every time. " We have a meeting with him today". > It is written in the contract weed control would be in place for 6 months, Not true, weeds have again take over the garden > 2" shredded natural hardwood mulch would be spread. The is not one shred of mulch in this garden. If there was it lasted less than 2 months. > It is in the contract the irrigation will be altered to appropriately water the new beds. Jason verbally told me if they would be allowed to alter the irrigation the plants would be guaranteed. Altering the irrigation had a fee attached. Two of the 6' Holly Nellie R Stevens bushes have died. The office staff stated the frost killed the plants. Also, Jason hand pruned my gorgeous Chinese maple. Great service for a great price. In 5 cuts they never cut it to my request. I even spoke to the guy mowing but I do not think he understood me. They continued to cut part of my neighbor's yard even though I asked them not to. And when they used the weed eater they went all the way to the dirt and you couldn't see grass. I called and left messages on Monday August 28 and Tuesday the 28th and no one returned my call. I asked them via text, which they replied to, not to mow the yard this week and they did. I am calling VISA to refuse any future charges from them, **★ — jennymarie15, Aug. 2017** > At first we were quite pleased with Picture Perfect - we worked with Gabriel. However, as the sod that was laid has grown, we noticed that Bermuda grass was intermixed with the Zoysia that we'd requested. Their customer service has been quite poor and very unresponsive to our attempts to contact them regarding this issue. We finally got a quote to fix this problem that they made, and they quoted the price of tearing out the sod placed and paying for the new sod. Still awaiting a response from them to clarify why we should have to pay for their errors...meanwhile the Bermuda is starting to take over the Zoysia. The house sits on a hill and it required a strategic plan to get to it through the yards of neighbors. The land was stabilized, the wall, was built and the neighbors yards were restored when the job was completed. I waited 2 days and did not hear back, so I called to schedule an appointment. When the gentleman came for the appointment, he didn't introduce himself, so it was awkward from the beginning. This was the owner of the company, Jason Brooks. > I showed him the area where we were in need of landscaping and he started naming all of these plants...which would have been fine, if he used the "common" name for the plant as opposed to the "proper" name. I had no idea what plants he was talking about and when I asked he acted (my interpretation) as if I should have known. > He also started talking about Crepe Myrtles. We have a bunch of them. He went on and on about how people were killing them and how mine needed to be taken out and new ones put in. He said that he was on the news talking about them, etc. Like I said he went on and on. I felt like he was speaking down to me. I also asked him about my grass and different bushes that needed to be fertilized. He gave me a ball park figure and I said...ok, I would like to do that. He said he would call me when he got back to the office to confirm the price, etc. He also said that he would come up with a design for the landscaping. He never called. > The next morning I see some man in my backyard in between my pine trees. It was someone from Picture Perfect. He was spraying my trees. When I asked him what he was doing in my yard, the gentleman said he was scheduled to come out and fertilize. Needless to say, I was not happy that someone showed up without any prior notification and that I was not contacted to confirm the price, schedule, etc. There was an apology from the owner, but it was forced. Very unprofessional. I was, however, still interested in what PP had to say about my landscaping. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. Well, I waited a week and received nothing. I called Jason and he said that he would get something to me within the next few days. Again nothing. I did not contact him again. > I was very disappointed in this company. When I was searching for Landscapers and came across their website, I was very impressed. There was a lot of good information on there. However, after meeting Jason and dealing with him, my opinion changed.
