Ed, > We want to express our continued admiration and gratitude for the way in which you and your company have provided after-sales service; specifically how you addressed and remedied the concrete damage that we experienced. > Being happy with the backyard stamped concrete patio and side walkway that you constructed for us in 2011, we subsequently engaged your services in 2013 to construct an adjoining driveway, new garage floor and front door patio with steps. Due to a combination of salt damage and harsh winters on what was ostensibly a sub-standard load of concrete and sealer, our driveway degraded due to spalling and cracking on portions of the stamped concrete; and crumbling on the exposed aggregate areas. > Upon bringing these concerns to your attention, you professionally and promptly responded by assessing the damage and then offering remedies, at no monetary cost to us. To fix the problems, you completely removed and replaced the driveway and a section of our walkway. In addition, you filled/repaired cracks in our backyard patio and cut deeper fault/relief lines to help protect against future cracks, at a reasonable cost to us. Before selecting SCP to do it I had discussions and quotes from others in the business. Although SCP were not the lowest the conversations I had with Joe from SCP and his answers to my questions convinced me they knew their business very well. He was frank and provided me with some ideas for the driveway and sidewalk along the side of the house that I hadn't considered. He also provided me with a solution for my garage floor which had been unsuccessfully painted several times. However if you have a specific design you want then be advised you should do a drawing yourself to present to them. They are very good at the physical work of doing the driveway, not so good at coming up with a design on paper for you to review. They did the job on time with no hassles and no additional last minute charges. Although the process of getting it done was messy (make sure you cover and protect any shrubs or bushes close by) the end result was excellent. Some of our neighbors on the street have aggregate concrete driveways done by others but ours is by far the best and most professional looking.
