**Q: Oven clearance** *(in Photo Questions)*

We have a similar layout in a house we are building. Curious to know the clearance in front of the wall ovens?

A: Good morning,  I don't recall the exact measurement,  however  if you can leave between 36 and 42 inches,  that will work. I'm not a big believer in that particular placement of the oven as it is not the most convenient access to the oven.

The floor is stone. I'm not sure what the product is. If you take the photo to a reputable flooring show room, they can direct you to comparable materials. Thanks for the compliment and good luck.

A: I believe the tile is from Brittany & Coggs. You can google to find a local distributor. Good luck!

**Q: What is the distance between the counters (sink/stove)?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have a really narrow kitchen that I'm wanting to remodel. This is the first kitchen I've seen that has a narrow walkway like mine.

A: Good morning,
I'm not sure what the distance is between the counter tops, typically we try to maintain 42" alleys. However, we have gone to 36" in some cases. Traffic patterns and usage has alot to do with determining what can work. I hope that helps?

Did local building codes require tempered glass in the lower and middle sash?

Yes the code required tempered glass in the lower sashes, however I had the entire unit tempered. The lower sashes are disabled for saftey as well.
