When our hardwood floors were sanded and stained with the wrong color, they made sure the work was redone at the subcontractor's expense. The renovation involved rehabbing the old part of the house, digging out a new basement, bumping out two additions and adding a self-standing garage: it was a very large and complex project. The old and new parts of the house meld together beautifully. WINN also helped to get new siding from the manufacturer when the siding we received was not up to specification and, although it delayed the project, it was important that this be right. WINN also helped us get a deal on half-rounded gutters that would have been beyond our reach without their support. > > No project of this magnitude goes without a few hitches. The project took longer than anticipated, partly because of early delays in concrete delivery and partly because of some unanticipated issues that required additional framing in the old part of the house. Earlier communication of the actual end-date would have been helpful as we needed to find new housing arrangements. There was one sub-contractor who was not particularly responsive and resolution of that might have helped speed things up. We are interested in a very simple pool house but one that has a full bath, gas fireplace, Flat screen TV and wet bar. A: Hi Kit, Thank you for your inquiry.
