### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Jona E, April 2026**

> Everyone has been helpful from start to finish. Especially Kayla, and Kristina our two girls who have been patient with us during the whole process. Thank you

**Comment from Main Street Homes:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your kind words about Kayla and Kristina's patient service throughout your process.

**★★★★★ — Joe & Amada, April 2026**

> This is from Joe & Amada: We’re sincerely grateful—and truly impressed—by the exceptional service Kayla Archleta provided throughout the entire process of designing our future retirement home, from our first tour of the Main Street Homes (MSH) design center through our final selections, including help with several highly technical questions along the way.
> From day one, Kayla’s professionalism, energy, design expertise, attention to detail, and practical guidance gave us confidence in every decision. In both meetings and quick check-ins, she explained options clearly, shared well-researched recommendations, and was transparent about pricing and priorities—setting us up for success. She also took the time to understand our vision and long-term needs, balancing creativity with practicality so our home will be beautiful, functional, and tailored to our lifestyle. That’s the kind of customer service you hope for—and Kayla delivers it!
> Throughout our design appointments, Kayla kept us informed, returned every call, and answered every question. No question felt too small, and she was the strongest advocate we could have had on our team. Her approach was always patient, calm, and professional—and when it mattered, appropriately firm.
> Buying a home is a major milestone, and the personalized design process can make it even more challenging (in a good way). We felt fortunate to have Kayla guiding us—her dedication, responsiveness, and commitment to quality exceeded our expectations.
> We gladly recommend Kayla without hesitation to anyone building with a buyer-selected design process. If you want someone who truly goes the extra mile (or, in our case, extra miles), she is a trusted partner who will genuinely care about your experience and provide peace of mind at every stage. Thank you, Kayla. With sincere appreciation, // Joe & Amada

**Comment from Main Street Homes:**

> Joe and Amanda, thank you so much for these kind words! We are thrilled to hear that Kayla provided the expert guidance and peace of mind you deserved while designing your retirement home. She is a vital part of the Main Street Homes team, and we’ll be sure to share your wonderful feedback with her. We can't wait to see your vision come to life!

**★★★★ — Pradip, Oct. 2025**

> We recently purchased a home from Main Street. The prices were reasonable, but the build quality could be improved. Our sales representative, Nicole, was very helpful throughout the process. She either had the answers we needed or pointed us in the right direction to find them.
>
> However, the information provided about the lender and title company they work with could have been better. For example, we were initially told that using a power of attorney wouldn't be an issue, but it turned out to be a major complication. We ended up having to prepare urgent documents overnight to avoid delays.
>
> Thanks in large part to Nicole's support, we were still able to close on the home within a month. One important takeaway: ask every possible question up front. Once you're in the process, you'll find there's little flexibility due to what they refer to as "company policy."

**★★★★★ — HU-83551693, July 2025**

> Kayla was amazing during our selections process. She was very knowledgeable and patient. It went very smoothly. Would recommend her to others.

**★★★★★ — HU-258781114, May 2025**

> We want to let you know that your Sales team (Stephanie), Production Builder (David H), Designer (Allison) and Customer Care team (Michelle & Justin) are elite in what they ALL do and bring !! It has been a wonderful experience with each of them as they embody a strong and positive trust in their customers which we were glad to be a part of.
>
> Again, we are so pleased with your MSH Teams and the amazing and repeatable processes that you have in place. They all collaborate extremely well with each other and they all truly provide a special product and service for MSH !!

**★★★★★ — Enrique Miller, July 2024**

> My wife and I had a great experience with Nicole (Sensitive Information Hidden) from Main Street Homes, she is great at explaining the options and was ready to answer every question we had, making this new home acquisition a stress free experience.
>
> Thank you so much for your help.

**★ — HU-727290735, June 2024**

> Main Street Homes builds garbage. The workmanship is so bad. We have had so many problems with our house in the 1st month. Framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting are horrible. They have no oversight on the work that their contractors do and have caused our family tremendous stress. The people are all very nice, but you are getting poor quality in every way.

**★★★★★ — HU-961557150, June 2024**

> Jason from Main Street Home @ Tuckmar Farms was very kind, extremely knowledgeable and certainly patient with us as we made our decision.

**Comment from Main Street Homes:**

> HU-961557150, Thank you so much for the positive feedback for Jason! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review!

**★★★★★ — julie\_goodside, Nov. 2023**

> We’re just finishing the design phase of our new home. The process so far has been wonderful. Lisa Spinelli was our first contact at Main Street Homes. She has gone above and beyond to be helpful. We needed some unusual accommodations to the floor plans and she got us the information we needed in a timely manner. Even after we signed she’s been following up with pictures and walk-throughs to help us make design choices. Our designer, Kelly West is also great! She listened to what we wanted and made suggestions that we hadn’t considered but loved. She has perfect combination of talent, experience and warmth. Lisa and Kelly both couldn’t have been any nicer. Can’t wait to see the house built! I’ll follow up in the late Spring on 2024.

> If you are considering building with Main Street Homes, I highly recommend looking elsewhere for the construction of your home. In the past Main Street Homes was a professional builder, but their reputation has drastically diminished into a self-serving company with substandard architectural integrity and poor customer service. Attached are pictures of our roof that was improperly installed by Main Street Homes causing severe leaking into our master bedroom, resulting in substantial damages to our ceiling and carpet. We immediately notified Main Street Homes on October 2, 2022 with the professional report and photos indicating 150 feet of our roof was improperly installed and the resulting damages to the interior of our master bedroom. My wife and I also expressed our concerns of black mold formation in our home posing health risks to my pregnant wife. At that time, a roofer was sent out to correct the improperly installed roofing and I was promised a report of all the roofing work conducted for my records. After completing the roof work, I contacted Main Street Homes for months to fulfill their obligation to resolve the remaining interior damages resulting from the faulty roofing. I reiterated our concerns of black mold formation in our home posing health risks to my pregnant wife. I was then told by a representative that Main Street Homes does not repair damages after one year. It has been over six months of numerous calls, emails, office visits, and voicemails from the independent roofer, all to no avail. My wife and I were reassured by a second representative that we would receive an invoice of the work performed to our roof for our records; however, we have yet to receive any documentation or tracking numbers for our records. I would not wish this horrible encounter on my worst enemy. I sincerely hope this review saves others from the horrible experience my wife and I had to endure.

**★★★★★ — M. Nichols, Dec. 2022**

> The sales process was low pressure, transparent, and detailed. Our rep Kristina was open with her time and made sure to get us the most accurate answers to our questions that she could provide while we were on-premise during an out-of-state house hunting trip and with relevant communication and follow up afterward. This was a differentiator for our decision to purchase just as important to us as the price, house/configuration, lot and community. Expectations of us as a prospective buyer were also made clear (which we appreciated) as there is much to do and be accomplished by all parties involved; builder/seller, plan reviewer/approvers, contractors-vendors and us as buyers alike. MSH helped us obtain the home we aspired for in a timeframe, budget and with flexibility that make the experience so far, a true collaboration and partnership which is especially satisfying being located very far from the future place we'll call home.

**★★★★ — HU-927185915, Dec. 2022**

> We signed a build contract with MSH using VA in Nov.2022. We placed the required 3% deposit with an estimated 10-12 month completion time. As we had a contingency of selling our current home, MSH would not start the process of the new build until a contract was in force on our current home. Although, there is an option to waive the deposit to begin the build process, we chose to wait until there was a contract on our current home. I mention the above as neither negative or positive relating to MSH, but as information for potential buyers.
> To date, our experience with Stephanie, the new home consultant has been excellent! She has been prompt to return calls and texts (even on vacation), give us detailed information on the process and answer many of our “what if” questions.
