> My husband and I were moving into our first home and I wanted guidance on how to update the 25-year-old house, primarily the kitchen. We had a limited budget for the interior design as we were planning to spend a good bit on the kitchen update. Charity worked within our budget and gave us materials suggestions for the kitchen and colors for many rooms in the house. We used her ideas as the base as we moved forward with our own ideas. A year later as we continue to update the house, I go back to the color samples suggested by Charity to remember the overall design for the house. The fee we paid basically paid for itself as many stores will give discounts if you are working with a designer. I plan to go back to Charity in the future for window treatments once the budget allows it again. Overall, I was extremely happy with Charity's service and style and her understanding that we were trying to decorate slowly and on a budget.

> I was remodeling a kitchen and first floor. I basically needed help picking out colors, and window treatments. I only met with Charity a few times to tell her my style. She picked out the perfect colors and materials. Charity is very professional and always gets back you right away if you have questions or concerns. She is very flexible and works with your schedule. I am so happy with our new kitchen and would recommend her services. When people see our kitchen, one of the first things they say is how beautiful the window treatments are!

**★★★★★ — Eric Tallarico, June 2014**

> Charity is a hands on decorator with great ideas and unbelievable team to make sure her concept comes to fruition. She is a pleasure to work with and is very responsive to any concerns that I had. I have now used her to decorate almost every room in my house. She also met with the architect and builder to go over ideas and help them tailor the house to meet our tastes. Bottom line is that she is second to none

> We would highly recommend using Charity from Élan Interiors for your design needs. She worked closely with us to understand our style and was able to give us a number of options to consider. Charity is very talented and easy to work with, the end result was fantastic!

> Working with Charity & Elan Interiors has been a wonderful experience. My husband and I built our home 2 years ago and and had a blank canvas. After a few meetings, Charity got a feel for what our design style was and presented a beautiful plan for our home. Her ideas and vision had great elements of interest. From the painting and wallpaper, fabrics and furniture selection, her attention to detail is amazing! She consulted us as needed and made sure everything was perfect. We really couldn't be happier.
> Executing what she promised couldn't have gone better. She is extremely professional and the results are incredible.

> I hired Charity Buchika of Elan Interiors to re- design the dining room in my historic 1905 dutch colonial. I was looking for an interior designer who would honor the history of my home while still giving it a modern flair. I am a professional in the field of architecture and knew I needed to find that special person with the talent I was looking for, Charity was that and so much more! I made a point over the last few years of following her work, her design is bold, yet timeless, she is gifted with color, texture and pattern in a way I have seen few designers be able to capture. She has that "It" factor that all of us are looking for and often can not find. I feel like a Queen when I enter my dining room each evening, the room is absolute perfection filled with elegance, warmth and drama. Charity was a joy to work with on a day to day basis, she is a great listener and valued my input. Without a doubt I will be looking to hire her again for several projects including a major renovation of my kitchen. Have fun hiring Charity for your next project!

> Elan Interiors exemplifies what a true expert should be and I highly recommend this firm no matter how big or small the project. Charity has a vision and helped me simplify and focus when I felt overwhelmed. She was instrumental in designing my new kitchen, including custom cabinets. She also asked all the right questions so I didn't overlook any detail. She helped with paint color, and counter top choices too. I am now working with Charity for my living room design. Also, so important with an interior designer, she is very trust worthy, patient and she cares. She is a joy to work with!

> I am a repeat customer of Elan Interiors. Hiring an interior designer can be an intimidating process but Charity is great to work with and incredibly responsive. From custom curtains, to paint colors and wallpaper throughout my house, to a redesign of my bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, I have been thrilled with the outcome and the professionalism every time!

> Decorating my home has always been important to me. With my husband and I and our two small children we want a welcoming balance of elegance and feeling of warmth in our home. I wanted a beautiful design while still feeling like you can "kick your legs up" and have the kids be able to run around. Charity has come into my home and help do just that. She has done every window treatment in my home and they never go unnoticed by anyone who walks in my house. Her fresh, clean designs and ability to pick fabrics, wallpaper/colors, and appropriate furniture for our lifestyle are much desired. As my house continues to come together, I will for sure be tapping into Elan Interiors timeless designs and expertise to make my house the home I have always aspired for.

**★★★★★ — Georgina Pinckney, Nov. 2013**

> I have been a client with Elan Interiors for almost one year now. Our house has a very large open floor plan on the first floor. Tying all of these areas together and creating a great flow took a lot of time, patience and creativity. After an initial meeting to define the scope of our project Charity presented us with options to create our perfect interior. Elan Interiors' endless resources as well as Charity's design expertise has helped us create a beautiful home for our family.

> Elan Interiors turned my dark and dated home into a dream home. Every time I walk in my home or invite guests in, the response is always pleasant. I hired Elan to make over my kitchen, dining room, half bath, mudroom and laundry room. The results were stunning. The process was fairly simple. I met with Charity and showed her a number of photos I had been collecting over the years. Charity took notes and discussed ideas with me then came back with a few designs to choose from. Fast forward to today, am I now have a bright gorgeous kitchen, amazing organized mudroom, a dream laundry room with a folding counter that also serves as a gift wrapping station! Our half bath is stunning and we now have a large back closet that also serves as a pantry. Elan Interiors did a phenomanal job making use of every single square foot available. Since the renovation, we hired Elan to design our window treatments which are stunning. I am now hiring them, again, to help turn our outdated master bath into a show piece! I would rate Elan Interiors an 11 out of ten!

> I have worked with Charity on decorating several rooms (paint, window coverings, furniture arrangement, lighting, etc.). She's a pleasure to work with. Good about working within your budget. Creative. Beautiful fabric choices. Always timely with input and answers to questions. I would definitely work with her again on future projects.

  - Description: VILLAGE CHARMER We significantly expanded this 1900’s Skaneateles Village homes kitchen. We added on a historically appropriate addition to the existing dark and dated kitchen to expand the living space to 3 times the current kitchen size. Our aesthetic goal: was to bring in modern classic elements but keep…

We created a space out of a newly finished basement and infused the home owner beachy vibe and that reflects her kids personalities. Built ins with tons of storage and places to display the growing art collection. Ship lap in a picked finish covers one of the walls to give the ode of beach living in the finger lakes.

  - Description: We were called in to help give life to this vanilla box of a room. With a very unappealing fireplace and no place for storage we created a new personalty with built ins and fireplace look. We proceeded to create a furniture scheme that worked with the narrow and long shape of the room with using family friendly durable materials through out the space. The owners request from the start is a traditional feel but to infuse it with color and a touch of her boho vibe.

Wondering what name/brand pink you used. I'm considering pink and want just the right one, so it doesn't look like a little girls bedroom.... :-) Thanks!

A: Hi There!,
I do not have record of that color but it was a Benjamin Moore color you can try 022 Peach Cooler or 064 Nautilus shell which is very close.
