My installer doesn’t want to do black paint on ours due to possible defacing of the overlay portion. A: Hi - sorry for the delayed response. This is a home of one of my former clients, so I do not know if they have had any problems. This builder has done several black garage doors that I am aware of and I have not heard of any problems with them. A: It is board and batten made out of cement fiber. **Q: Also, what color are the tiles on backsplash?** *(in Photo Questions)* The tiles really set off the granite. Great combo A: Thank you! Yes the countertop is very busy so a nice calm backsplash is the way to go. This is a 3 x 9 glass tile by Lunada Bay. It is called TOMEI LOFT NATURAL. The ground is TEC 908 Dove Gray.
