My project was quite big (full gut renovation and decor) and I am absolutely thrilled with every aspect of their work!  I felt Laura, Rhiannon, and the rest of LKD really took time to understand my taste and my lifestyle needs and their design ideas were spot-on from the get-go.  I found it was best to give them a lot of creative license and trust them, even when I was a bit unsure about a suggestion (which barely ever happened). They definitely always knew best!
