A: Thank you for your interest. The granite we used is Venetian Gold 3CM DEMI **Q: Have I made a huge mistake? Husband comes home in two days!** *(in Design Dilemma)* We just had our bedroom painted (see photographs - and the painters have literally just left, so please excuse the lack of furniture). I was hoping for the walls to be darker, towards navy, but it still just seems so \*blue\*. Our drapery is kind of a seafoam blue, which I intended to provide a sense of contrast against the walls. However, I'm afraid it just isn't working. Literally, the rest of our house is all painted with tan walls and cream trim, so maybe I'm just freaking out because the blue is so very different than the rest of the house. My husband helped choose the paint color with me, but is now out of town for two days. I'd love for the room to look fairly cohesive by the time he gets back. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated! A: The wall color is great! We are doing a lot of color now and blue is a wonderful color for the bedroom. Just a suggestion, try drapes with white and blue and it will pull the room together since you have white trim. I'm doing a sun room now with that very color and my accents are bright white and line green, looks wonderful. Just a thought. Good luck. **Q: I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE!** *(in Design Dilemma)* I need help with my fireplace! I painted the wall Benjamin Moore Navajo Red and it clashes with the mantel. I'm not sure what to do? Should I repaint the wall a different colour? Should I paint the mantel white like the trim in the house? Is the mantel too small for the space? Should I remove it completely and either stone or tile the entire wall surface? A: The color is nice with the wood. If you want any easy fix, try matching the drapes with the new color and see if that doesn't pull it together before you spend a lot of money.
