Tried to ship them back to the address on the receipt only to have them returned to me by UPS. By the time I called KE Hardware it was past the 21 day return policy and so now I'm stuck with four legs that I have no use for. My recommendation > is to never do business with this company. **Comment from KE Hardware:** > Customer did not follow our return policy by contacting us for a return authorization and just shipped the legs back. We had moved locations and so his package was returned to him. We had no information about him wanting to return the legs until after the package was returned to him and by then this was outside of our return period. We are more than happy to take returns when the proper procedures are followed. **★ — David Smith, April 2016** > My architect ordered some legs for a vanity we're building for my Mother-in-law who was recently moved to a taller, motorized wheelchair. Because of that, we had requested an exchange for some taller furniture legs. > > He was told by KE that the order was outside the 21 day exchange policy (by a couple of weeks), and that they would not exchange the items. > > I understand that business need to have polices in place, but I am also aware of many companies that are willing to make exceptions (esp. in this case where it's an exchange for a very similar item) and KE is not one of those.
