We live in a moblie home, so our lights are a lot smaller then the normal ones. The original company who installed the lights came back 3x and could not stop the leak. As a result a large piece of drywall fell down over our kitchen sink. We call Combs Roofing and set an appointment for them to give an estimate for the job. We accepted his offer. He had noted that the lights were installed wrong, the fastener were not the correct size and there was no dam around them to funnel the water away from the lights. Combs Roofing reinstalled the lights, water proofed the area, constructed a divergent dam around the light. Two or three days latter we had a thunderstorm, a big one, the roof was still leaking, I called and Mr. Combs came over found out why it was leaking fixed it and it has not leaked since then. Combs Roofing had the knowledge, expertise and the willingness to see the project was completed to our satisfaction. Of some size/shape! I know the space is challenging but I’m hoping you awesome people out there have some ideas! I was thinking of using the pony wall for a bench so that would save space. I would love a round pedestal but thinking that’s probably not the best for this space. Despite what I want. I hope these measurements help. Because of that angle it’s sort of challenging measuring it all out. I will have 2 or 3 stools on the right end of the island. That’s where the overhang with legs is so even a small breakfast table would be ok. I do have a dining room.. but really love being in the kitchen. 4 people would be ideal. Any brilliant ideas! A: Removing the Pony Wall will give you more options. an upholstered banquette with a oval table like the one suggested earlier. **Q: Marble v quartz or granite** *(in Design Dilemma)* Would love input on Marble countertops in a master bath - I am hearing varying opinions, some saying it will discolor, others not as concerned. I've heard quartz is more durable but don't like it as much. I like the marble better but do not want gross discoloration or damage over time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! A: I have used quartz for 6 years until my countertop specialist explained the new process on quality quartz. The resin goes much deeper into the stone, will not stain, and doesn't have to be sealed. Purchased slabs like in the photo. The color is called Super White. The photo was on a cloudy day but the actual color is white with beautiful colors of gray. Not spotty like most granite. **Q: \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*MUTED OR GRAYED GREEN, BLUE, AND CORAL\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*** *(in Design Dilemma)* COULD MUTED OR GRAYED GREEN, BLUE AND CORAL WORK IN ONE HOUSE WITH AN OPEN FLOOR PLAN? A: Yes, any color with gray undertones are my favorite choices for my interior clients. Tan is not the only neutral color their is. **Q: do chairs need to match?** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi, I have room in my living room for a sofa and two chairs. I have the sofa and one chair. my question is when aquiring the other chair do they need to match? If no then what makes them "play nicely" together? A: Pieces that look like they have been collected over time add interest to any interior space. The placement of the chairs, size, and other furnishings will be the deciding factor. Pick your favorite of the 2 and create a vignette, you may love it. I say play with it, ask for more help if needed. **Q: Please vote!?!? I am making this super easy:)** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi, need help. Please pick a number ?!? Or not... A: \#6 hands down. The gray and taupe undertones will look great, and make the colors in the tile trim and floor pop. The trim will also stand out, adding more architecturat intrest. Great job picking out the tiles **Q: New front door color** *(in Before & After)* I wanted to brighten up my front door. Im really happy with my colour choice, sometimes its the little changes that make the biggest impact. Let me know your thoughts :) A: Looks great. I love to see bright and unexpected colors on entry doors. Choose a color that sticks out, says something about your personality. Making simple changes to a homes exterior is cost effective and easy.
