> Albert did a poor job in my apartment renovation. I had to file a court claim against him for unfinished and substandard work. I won the case, so that should tell you all you need to know about his workmanship and professionalism. Two examples were: First, the shower floor was improperly installed and caused water damage. The entire shower floor had to be demolished and replaced at my own expense. Second, the paint job was supposed to be "sand, prep and paint interior walls". Walls were not prepared for painting, and Albert said he had only done a "Level 1" paint job which is basically a quick paint job only appropriate for attics or barns, the paint industry does not recognize that as appropriate for interior painting. Albert is clearly not knowledgeable enough to oversee his subcontractors and know if they are doing a good job or raking "shortcuts". Save yourself money and time and get a knowledgeable contractor.

> Albert and United CE are always pleasant and easy to work with. They make my job easy by coming to me prepared and knowing what they're looking for. I'm sure that the same is true for his clients that he works with.

> Albert did a great job on my brownstone renovation. Very easy to communicate with and stands by his work. Walked me through every step of the way and the results were great.

> I hired U.C.E. Renovation to help with a remodeling project on my duplex. Working with Albert F. was amazing. He was very responsive to all calls and emails no matter the time. All deadlines were met and quality was top notch. My fiance and I were extremely impressed with the final product. I highly recommend U.C.E. to anyone looking to remodel whether a large or small project.

> From the very first moment finding a contractor I can trust proved to be a very challenging endeavor.
> Everyone I met with seemed to want to scalp me alive. I met Albert from U.C.E renovation through my real estate broker and from the very first moment I knew he would be the one to build my collection.
> Albert proved to be professional and trustful. He looked out for the best interests of my business and throughout the process he seemed as eager as I was to get the project off the ground.
> I would gladly recommend U.C.E Renovation and will certainly contact them once we are ready to build our next location.

> I rehabilitated an 1880's brownstone in Jersey City. I had already established my service contractors (electric, plumbing, hvac), but sought out a second opinion to check my own building work and ideas, as well as my hired service contractors plans. I connected with Albert from UCE Renovation, through a mutual person. After a thorough walk-through of the property, Albert provided invaluable advice ranging from structural to finished layout - all in a professional, knowledgeable, honest, and effortlessly calm demeanor. Although I did not obtain an estimate for this project, I recall wishing I had found UCE before awarding work to other contractors. The consultation alone absolutely moved UCE Renovation to the top of my list to call before I begin my next project.

> I went on line for a bathroom repair, not knowing anyone. Albert Fierstein was the first response, and I agreed to have him look at the bathroom. He came on time, took time to examine the room, and helped me to understand what would work best for the small space I had. He was professional and understanding. I had a limited budget and he worked with that in mind.
>
> He always made appointments in advance and the workers were there on time, knowing exactly what
> to do. They were also very impressive, and paid attention to details.
>
> I am so pleased with UCE, that I recommended them to a neighbor, who reported back to me that they
> were also impressed my Albert's professionalism. I am completely satisfied with UCE and would not hesitate to use them again.

> Do not use UCE Renovation on any project no matter how small. I made the unfortunate mistake of hiring UCE to renovate our apartment. The quality of work, in our opinion, was poor at best. We since have had to bring in different contractors to fix several of the problems. The management of the project was very disappointing as we had high hopes. They rarely visited the apartment to check on progress during our four month renovation! I am giving him the benefit of the doubt by saying he stopped by a handful of times. The recommendations on materials/designs were unhelpful and and in some cases wrong. It got to the point where I stopped asking him for advice and asked a close friend who works on only commercial projects (not what you would expect from a NYC contractor). lastly, I would add he significantly marked up anything he purchased on our behalf.

## Community Q&A

**Q: where is the vanity/sink from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

where is the vanity/sink from?

A: The sink is Teorema 60 Vessel Sink. The vanity we got special from a vendor/large showroom in Connecticut that shipped it to us. Hope that helps.

**Q: Love this bathroom. How large was the space** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you very much. It was not the typical NYC 5' x 7' bathroom. It was approx. 7' x 9'.
