**Q: Flooring** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type wood floors are these

A: Hi, they are 3/4" solid oak flooring, 2 1/4" wide.  We site finished these with stain and 3 coats of polyurethane.

**Q: What color is the paint/stain on the island?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I'm trying to refinish some wood cabinets that have been painted an awful putty or cream color. Would I need to sand them first? Did you seal the island after painting/ distressing? Thanks for answering.

A: Hi, my apologies for the delay in responding.  Yes, you would have to sand the cabinet prior to painting.  Also may need to use an oil base primer if you're planning to paint the cabinet using a typical paint product.  We use an clear lacquer finish over our stains and paints.  You could use the same or use a clear polyurethane. Hope that helps and good luck! Matt

A: The owner and designer handled the furnishing decisions so unfortunately I don't know where it came from. It is beautiful though!  Thanks for the question.
