A: All the homes I design are custom and specific to each client. Are you looking for a new home design that looks like this on? **Q: Does this house need shutters** *(in Design Dilemma)* Our origianl plans did not call for shutters on our house, but it just looks like something is missing. The landscaping will help, i just think it needs shutters, my husband does not. Opinions please Yes No A: I think - Adding a frezze board between the roof structure and the columns would make a big difference. Shutters could help also. **Q: help to finish my basement** *(in Design Dilemma)* Where do I begin to finish my basement completely open right now? A: I would start with hiring a designer. **Q: Front entry help new build** *(in Design Dilemma)* We're building a house. Would the front entry look strange with a semi circle on top of the doors? Also the doors will look much more modern than in the picture. Any suggestions? Exterior will most likely be light gray Canexel, roof a darker gray and stone some other version of gray. Front doors and garage doors Cherry or Walnut type wood, and white trim for everything. Any help or suggestions are appreciated :) A: I would suggest not using a half round window. If you really would like to use the half round consider replacing the high gable end double casement with a narrow single casement with a half round top. Then the entry door would work well with a half round. **Q: Are ceilings 9 or 10ft.?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The ceiling height is 10'-0" a.f.f. **Q: Hi.
