**Q: wet/dry sauna in combination with infrared** *(in Photo Questions)*

I would like to know if it is advised to build a wet/dry sauna with infrared panels?  I too, would like the look and feel of the traditional sauna and rocks but with the benefit of the infrared panels.  Has there been any issues?  Can you confirm that the sauna was built with the water barrier and proper insulating components and the infrared panels will withstand the added steam and moisture?  Who built/installed it?  Where did you purchase the infrared panels from?

A: There are no issues as of yet. Yes the sauna has a visqueen waterbarrier and insulated walls. McKean Construction built it in Santa Barbara. The infrared panel was purchased in San Francisco

A: The square footage of this house is actually 3,715 sq. ft.

**Q: Fan mount** *(in Photo Questions)*

We are planning to get the same fan and mount it to a similar sized beam.  Can you tell me how it was mounted?  Did the wire go through the beam or around it?  Is the junction box recessed or did the canopy coverup a pancake box?  Thanks in advance!!!!

A: nhbakker, we did drill through the beam, ran romex through into a pancake electrical box where we mounted the fan. The beam was 7 1/2" wide
