My bad for paying him before fully inspecting his work. **★★★★★ — Laurie Infinger, March 2015** > After receiving 4 quotes, we hired Carl Woods to refinish (lacquer) our existing 1970-era birch cabinet boxes and make new doors/drawers, including all soft-close hardware and some reconfiguration/replacing old doors with deep drawers for pots/pans storage, combining 2 drawers (horizontal side-by-side) into one, and removing the middle wall in our pantry to create one large space filled w/soft-close pull-out shelves. AWESOME!...Carl has been great to work with, coming back more than once to change/improve details that we hadn't thought about initially. He is currently working to complete a short punchlist and keeps in close touch with us on availability, possible schedule changes, etc. He has helped to make this a great experience in spite of the challenges faced when dealing with existing fixtures. He has worked to stay within our budget while still providing the quality we desire. We have recommended him to several others.
