> Mrs. Fixxit started her business just when I decided that my "early- YMCA-look" bedroom needed to become beautiful.  I had no idea what I wanted the new look to be, so Mrs. Fixxit created a design, and with her crew implemented it, all at a very reasonable cost.  That was in 2006.  I still love it!  Since then, Mrs. Fixxit has redone my study and my kitchen - all wonderful.  I live in an old house (built 1912), and to redo a room is more than just painting it a new color, it includes wiring, plaster work, window repair, etc.  Everything she has done for me (including other, small jobs) has been excellent and started and completed within her estimated time frame.  The most recent job (November 2017) I asked her to do was an emergency one - cracked waste pipe, "can you come tear out part of a ceiling and a wall so the plumber can get to it?"  Her workman arrived within 15 minutes and 1 1/2 hour later the ceiling and wall were torn out and the mess (and we're talking messy plaster and lathe) was cleaned up.  I'm now scheduling her to come patch up the ceiling/wall and repaint.
