From honey oak to white shaker!** *(in Remodeling)* Before and after! Finally got rid of my green laminate countertops and red paint. We used ready made cabinets from A1 cabinetry. Black pearl leathered granite. Floors will be installed soon - replacing our entire first floor with 4” white oak with dark walnut finish. Bottom molding not installed until floors are installed. Also installed crown molding. Paint is Sherwin Williams Stone Lion. Used Top Knobs Ascendra 5” pulls. I got a lot of grief on Houzz for my layout. This was done on a budget so we kept the soffits that are full of plumbing (hey we have twins in college and with 9 foot ceilings and 42 inch cabinets we really didn’t think it was necessary)! No regrets there. I cook a lot and this layout is perfect for me! Added a large pull out trash can in the island which I love! All lowers are drawers or pullouts. We are happy! A: Very nice! **Q: White Kitchen** *(in Before & After)* Finished updating our kitchen..very happy with the contractor/design team.Some highlights include a cove built for the fridge-The back wall was "extended" to accommodate a full depth fridge(looks like counter -depth :) ), a custom cabinet to hold microwave,with 2 drawers . A: I really like this kitchen! **Q: A Kitchen Reborn** *(in Before & After)* Before. A dated kitchen in a beautiful 1930's character home needed an update. Before. The drawers were literally falling apart. After. White Shaker Cabinets paired with a subway tile feature wall. Pendant lighting emphasizes the windows and provides task lighting. A rich walnut top is featured at the eat-in peninsula. After. A linen subway tile wall paired with crown moulding accentuates the existing windows. The kitchen feels much brighter and expansive. After. The existing hutch and bar area was extended by removing a small non-load bearing wall. After. A gorgeous walnut butcher block top was added to the eat-in peninsula. Interface luxury vinyl was used on the floor depicting a travertine stone. Gold blown glass pendants add an Old World metallic accent.
