Mike Miano the owner and worst job-site boss. Sun Bay will let their painters paint the walls with no drop cloths and leave paint all over the floors and windows and stairs. They don't care and will just shrug their shoulders like “oh well”. They let the painter basically paint everything. They also have their guys drag appliances across your hardwood floors that are 80yrs old and are down to their last sanding without any protection on the floor. They spill glue and builders adhesive and paint on newly sanded floors. Then Mike tells his guys to go around and whip paint thinner on a newly coated floors. Mike Miano and Sun Bay Builders will not protect you when they don't pay there contracted bills and you will end up with a property lien and put you in the middle of their bad business practices. Sun Bay will have hardwood floor put in over a garage and doesn't even install r-13 insulation and 6 mil plastic stapled in to the beams in the garage below the floor were the humidity and temp differences cause swelling and movement of the solid hardwood floor. Also they use chip board as a sub floor and on stairs to save $2 a sheet over real plywood for the job he save $100 by doing that really Sun Bay. They know chip board shrinks and soaks up moisture like a sponge, we live in the Florida swamp not Arizona dry desert and over time the sub floor will come lose and squeak like crazy. Leave plywood and chip board out in the rain and see which one weight's more. They don't care. When he messes up he blames everybody else except himself. It’s all about cutting corners and saving money to have larger profit . > > below I added some of the 75 pictures and video I have have. Houzz only lets 4 pictures > Look at the mess sun bay builders let's go on in your home when you move out and let them run the day to day work at your home. They let the drywall guy mix joint compound with wheelbarrow in your house. If you know anything about drywall dust its everywhere fast and in every small crack. The painters, look at all the paint and joint compound on a antique heart pine floor that historical. You can even see foot prints in the paint on the floor.
