## Community Q&A

**Q: cheapest way to buy quartz countertops?** *(in Kitchens)*

I am working with a KD and will be ordering my cabinets very soon. I am not sure if the price quoted for my quartz counters is competitive. I just feel like the KD place gets a cut when I can go straight to the source and save a bit, right? Does it make sense to buy those myself through a local company? I don't need to pick out a slab or anything because all I want is super white quartz. Any advice? Anything I am forgetting to consider--like will it be a hassle not having one place do it all. BTW, I am doing a big renovation and my contractor is doing the plumbing and electrical, not the KD place. Thanks!

A: It is your money and I am sure you will purchase it from the cheapest person. I do believe that service and experience have a value of 10-20%. It is time for people to support small business or 2/3 of Americans will be out of jobs. Do the right thing and start the support.
