We first met Clayton Maxfield, co-owner of Summit when he visited our home for a quote. We found Clayton amiable, knowledgeable, and far from a salesman. One of the first things we noticed is that he had a genuine interest in what we wanted from this project. We explained that we found our home somewhat piecey- disconnected and wanted a look that flowed. Clayton showed us several floor patterns and how they would look with the existing floor. He also introduced us to the concept of using the same tile as baseboards in areas like the kitchen and laundry room where our wood had warped over time. After we selected Summit Tile for our project, Clayton got in touch with our tile removal company and coordinated a date to start the job six weeks out. On that day Clayton arrived with Osvaldo and Wilson his tile setters. Osvaldo inspected the concrete and pointed out several cracks. He explained that the cracks had to be treated with a crack isolation membrane to prevent cracked tiles in the future. We cannot say enough about Osvaldo, he is extremely hard-working, very knowledgeable in the matter of tile setting with 23 years of experience behind him and he also pays attention to every single detail. As an individual Osvaldo is a delightful person, respectful, thoughtful and continually checks for costumer satisfaction and feedback about his work. We are thrilled with our new floor, the result is far above what we expected. Today we received the ultimate compliment from a gentleman who has been in the carpet and tile setting business for 33 years.
