> The staff at Semper Fi Custom Remodeling walked us through every phase of our project, from demolition, through planning, materials choices, vendors, time frames to completion.  No detain was unimportant to them.  We began in April, 2018 and the first part of the project was completed by September of that same year with delays mostly because of weather.  Everyone pulled together in a complimentary fashion, finding excellent solutions to the on-going stream of situations that arise when renovating a 90 year old house.  Budget was managed with skill and any cost-overruns were due mostly to choices we made in upgrading materials or expanding the scope of some part of the project.  We were thrilled with the way the crews worked together and especially with the end result!  Could not believe how smoothly the project went or how happy we were with the kitchen and bath renovation!  We encourage anyone to not make a choice until they have at least talked to Chris and Jay.

**Q: What is the name of the countertop?  Quartz?  quartzite?  Lovely kitch** *(in Photo Questions)*

I’d like to use this with cream-colored cabinets.  Is there enough contrast?

A: Its a Walker Zanger Quartzite countertop. The designer on this project was Ashley's Kitchen and Bath in Black Mountain.  They would be the experts to ask about the color!
