But experience alone does not tell you the whole story of our workmanship. Our method is to follow the proper procedures for each project. We do not take short cuts. All of our employees are trained, either through apprenticeships or on-the-job training, and are closely supervised. We work safely, provide quality workmanship, and at the same time have fun doing the work. Located on the East side of Milwaukee, we travel throughout the Milwaukee area, as well as Ozaukee and Waukesha Counties. During the summer months our workload is split between exterior and interior projects. John, the owner, called me back quickly and was able to come over to give us a quote within a day or so. It was for my 84 year old mother's house - which was last painted in the 1970's! There was quite a bit of patching to do in places, in addition to the painting. John couldn't have been any nicer or more professional and gave us a very reasonable quote. When it came time for the actual painting, he had three employees who were wonderful and went above and beyond what I would have expected. I had moved a lot of the things, but they moved all the furniture, some of the smaller boxes I hadn't gotten to yet, and even helped me figure out how to disconnect my mom's TV & cable. (Even more importantly, they hooked it all back up!) Once they had started I asked if they could add another room to the job and John and his crew were very accommodating. They cleaned up and tidied every night and finished in the 3 days John had estimated. I was thrilled with the most recent job in November 2016: The bedroom was left in better condition than I started with and the outcome was outstanding!! They added a crown molding which was breathtaking and the final paint job has wowed the neighbors. John's advice is extremely helpful when I am not sure about some details, such as inside closet color or sheen type. The team painted the outside of our home: siding and trim, which included replacing several trim sides due to woodpecker and water damage. I love coming home every night and seeing a beautiful home. This is not the first job The Village Painter has done for us. The team has now painted every room of our home over the last 15 years and the outside of our home previously as well.
