> Terrible builder!!!!!   We showed him places that the workers did a poor job and he didn't do anything about it.  He did not make sure items put in the house were what we ordered.  He wasn't going to do a walk through until I mentioned it and then he pulled an envelop out of his pocket and was going to write my issues on it.  The paint job was horrible.  I ended up painting the entire house on the inside myself (except for the ceilings).  He did send out the painter (unannounced) and I sent him away as I wasn't going to be there the entire day.   We had the outside painted 2 years later.  Flooring was horrible -- limestone was not even and had many hollow places underneath.  We had that all replaced.  Two of our edgeless shower doors broke because they were not installed correctly.  We had his furnace people come out so many times (15-20) to have the furnace work correctly.  They never got it right.  We replaced the main furnace 2-3 years after closing.

Also, according to his contract, after the build if there are items that need fixing, you are supposed to send a registered letter to him, letting him know the problems etc.  Well, this jerk wouldn't even go pick up the letter from the post office.

> COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED with this builder. He refused to show invoices, drew funds down but did not use those funds for disignated line items, simply stopped early on supervising subcontractors, and walked off the job halfway through the build. Please do your research on this builder before making the costly mistake we did in trusting him to build our dream home.
