I hired them to replaster my pool and they did it the wrong color. Apparently that’s my fault because even though I made it very clear what color I wanted, I didn’t catch the fact that they wrote down the wrong color in the contract. OK fine. But then when the job was done my pool was leaking. After trying to accuse me and saying the pool was leaking before they did the job, they finally got around to demolishing my concrete around the pool to find the leak. 7 months later they still have not come back to fix the giant hole left in the ground. I have contacted them repeatedly and I’m constantly told that they will be there soon but then I never hear from them. These are absolutely the worst contractors I have ever worked with. They both have black, metal frames and black, opaque glass panels; and really darken the room they sit in. A: Cover the surfaces of the metal structure with sheets of magazine pages soaked in liquid starch. It will produce a very interesting and visually intriguing effect. You can always update it from time to time by applying new visuals from magazines. Once the surface dries up it can be easily peeled off - no damage done =). Try it **Q: New Upstairs Tiled Shower!** *(in Before & After)* We recently finished tiling a stellar shower! It looks great and is quite spacious! The painting and glass installation are up next for this amazing upstairs remodel. What colors do you think will look best on the walls? Let us know! A: something like that =) **Q: What would you do if this was your kitchen?** *(in Polls)* Husband is building us shaker style kitchen cabinets (they’ll replace the janky peach ones pictured) in our 1930’s bungalow and I‘m torn on what to paint them. Shiplap was everywhere when we moved in and we are painting it alabaster. Our north facing kitchen is fairly dark except for a hour in the evening so dark colors are probably not going to work (even though I like the white and navy combo.) Below are pics of our space plus the colors we have been decorating with throughout the house. Should we paint the cabinets colonnade gray to match the trim or go bold and do a two tone with base cabinets being either a navy or sw brocoflower green? Or something different altogether? Husband isn’t fond of more white cabinets and we are planning on doing a white silestone counter. It’s a 13x14 space with no dining room so furniture has to stay however the rug can be replaced If something else would be better. A: Colonnade Gray is an elegant color.
