John listens to you, keeps your budget in mind, and carefully plans and costs the work. The various subcontractors he employs are experienced and, also, nice people. The kitchen remodel was in the fall of 2014. When it came to two more remodels (add front porch and expand master bath Spring 2016, add back porch Fall 2017), we continued to work with John. Didn't bother to interview anyone else. For one remodel the batch of cement used for a sidewalk began to pit after six months. We called John, he and the cement people said there had to have been something wrong with that batch, and the sidewalk was replaced immediately at no cost to us.
