> Buyer beware, I purchased a stove at prelaunch in may paid 5k+ . I was told it would deliver in October. I have called the company numerous time been on hold for hour, never reaching a human. I haven’t sent many emails also resulting in no response.

> Against better judgement, I purchased a Hallman Range and am now stuck in the horrible groundhog day that is their customer service. I purchased a part on 5/16 and was aware there might be a lead time but after the purchase was told it would be 7-10 weeks. I can understand the lead time but now it is 8/20 and I have yet to receive the part. I have not been able to use my oven the whole time and have been requesting and update on estimated delivery since mid July. The customer service seems to be the root of the quite a few negative reviews and unfortunately I am just another customer falling victim to it. I am nervous to write this review as my issue is not resolved but do feel the need to warn potential customers that should they choose to purchase this experience may be in their future.

> BUYER BEWARE: I purchased a Hallman Industries range with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing:
> 1.Before buying, I spoke directly with Nicole Forbes, the VP of Sales, who assured me that Hallman had resolved previous customer service issues. She also claimed that the new ranges were problem-free. However, this turned out to be far from the truth. Additionally, she said she would continue to be my point of contact after the range was received; however, as soon as the first complaint/concern was voiced to her, she ghosted me.
> 2.The “white glove delivery” service damaged the front bottom of the range during delivery. Despite reporting the issue immediately, they failed to note it on the bill of lading. I reported it immediately to Hallman along with photos, and the owner has said he will not address it since it is not on the bill of lading.
> 3.The small oven heats 50-200 degrees higher than the set temperature and doesn’t maintain consistent heat. I use a thermometer every 10 minutes to prevent burning my baked and roasted items. The owner, Ben Hallman, says this is “normal.” I have 40 years of experience baking with gas ovens know that small variations are expected but not 50-200 degrees. The SDG&E technician who inspected the range informed me that the temperature can be adjusted from within the range by a service technician. Thus far, Hallman has refused to send a technician to diagnose and address this very concerning and dangerous issue.
> 4.The stove top enamel has dull spots from cooking splatters. Unfortunately, these spots can’t be cleaned off, suggesting poor quality enamel. During a video meeting with Ben Hallman, I showed him the range stove top, and he demanded that we replicate the cause and film it, which would result in potential further damage knowing full well that he is never going to replace it as seems to be his MO.
> 5.The knobs don’t stay in place and need constant reinstallation. Hallman wants to send a small insert for those knobs; however, that insert already exists in them. I need completely new knobs that are intact and do not come off in my hand, but he does not seem to understand this.
> 6.I contacted Ben Hallman, the owner, who initially promised replacements for the stovetop and knobs and troubleshooting by his technical team. However, he now insists on video evidence, even though we already had a video meeting and photos which we have sent multiple times. He refuses to address the kickplate damage because it wasn’t noted on the bill of lading.
> 7.We requested a refund for the extended warranty as soon as we realized the regular warranty and customer service were so lacking, but not only does that remain unresolved but completely ignored.
> Overall, Hallman Industries’ product quality, customer service, and owner responsiveness have been severely lacking. I strongly advise against purchasing from them.

> Dear Hallman,
> I have a 36" range that has now gone through 3 oven door gaskets. Each gasket has soon split apart at the middle of the bottom. I am now running out of warranty time and this repeated need for repair has me wishing I'd never bought this oven. The gasket is obviously an inferior-made piece of equipment and it is necessary to keep the temperature of the oven.
>
> Should I buy a supply of this crappy gasket? Where?

> I don’t usually leave reviews - the range and quality are fantastic we also had a great experience with customer service. The installers were using the instructions - one page was only in Italian. After some grumbling and cursing by the installers… I said let’s call and see if they could help. 2nd ring - got Jessica - she was great! Within about 2 minutes instructions (in English) were in my email inbox and they had it hooked up. Beautiful range - great service!

> They are quick to sell an oven online but you will never find them after that. I have had my range now for about a year and have tried six times to contact them to no avail. No one answers the phone but they direct you to their email address which totally goes unanswered. They have not yet responded to one of my emails. I would never suggest one of these ranges again to anyone. The price is great and they look really pretty but beyond that go purchase some brand where you can get some service and customer follow up.

**Q: Advice about purchasing a Hallman Industries range** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi, we are in the early stages of renovating our kitchen and I wanted to purchase a good looking range. I came upon the Hallman Industries range. 36" inch. they are beautiful, but I have not seen any reviews only on Home Depot. Curious if anyone has had an experience with them.

A: We have fantastic customer service. Reach out to us anytime via phone, web chat, or public forum. We successfully deliver hundreds of ranges every month and are known for our excellent support. Two years ago we did a project to add wooden packaging skeletons around every range, and we further reinforce it with ply wood on the lower portion of the range. You purchased the range from Home Depot so you should continue to deal with Home Depot. Please let us know if you have any technical issues.
