## Community Q&A

**Q: Dilemma** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I recently purchased this Townhome and the cabinets are black and in good condition but, my dream kitchen is with white cabinets since my budget is low my husband wants to paint them. So my question is should we paint them or wait for when we get more money and get the real thing in white ? or if they get painted will they look nice or crappy?  I need wn advice maybe some of you have done before? Thanks

A: Paint the walls a creamy white.  Change out the pendant light and chandelier lights with ones that have color.  Replace the backsplash with stainless steel subway tile.  Lighting samples below:

I've just returned my third set of curtains for my living room. Please help me find curtains to help brighten the room and maybe bring out the blue in the rug! Thank you!
