I arranged a trailer for live in, which was very well used, but enabled life on the farm. There was also the very well used historic heritage "Eaton's house" that was built in 1930's or so. It was a tiny little shack that belonged to nature, with no windows or plumbing, and raw basement that housed early settlers who were long gone. As I had spent funds for land and barn for my critters, i decided i couldn't afford a new home, my dream home on this property. Rather, i asked Sherry to renovate and restore, with me, the old heritage house. That's what she did, and i will never forget her help in doing this, now more than 20 years ago. We were conservative, but we turned it into window home, looking in all directions at my paradise property and all of the wild and domestic animals all these years. My granddaughter grew up here, and graduates from nursing now. But this property remains my dream, and now i wish to build the larger, comfort dream home on this spot, so that i can rent the beautiful small reno house to caretaker while partner and i can travel the world knowing the animal family is well looked after! Need i say more? Sherry!! You made such a difference by your helping hand earlier in my life! Can we do this again? She is great!!! I'm looking for her, still in business. The project was unique and our expectations were to have a highly functioning upscale project that provided the 'best' use of space with a design that was set in a 28' X 90' space. Also challenged with the need for great lighting in a commercially zoned property where no windows could be placed on the sides without taking prime real estate. Sherry was both innovative and used her expertise and experience to create a space that feels 'downtown'; the space features sun tunnels and sky lights (there is no SADD here). We love everything about the space from the two-car garage to the covered back deck. The commercial space is leased as an office space and serves our community well. Modern features with a traditional feel - exactly what we were envisioning. Always grateful for Sherry's wisdom and willingness to capture our vision! I love it! A: The siding is dark grey stucco and you may be able to get the exact colour from the builder, Centennial 360. Fascia, gutters and window casings are all just black metal. Fairly simple but effective. **Q: Stucco?** *(in Photo Questions)* Wondering what color your stucco is here? A: Centennial Custom Homes were the builders and they will have the colour. **Q: What colors were used to get the effect. A: This is stained and stamped concrete. A: It is a "Stone Tile" available at Centennial on 51st. If you ask for Corrine there she can show you the exact one. **Q: Front and Garage doors colors** *(in Design Dilemma)* I'm looking for some ideas on colors for my house.I'm thinking red fo rthe front door, but what about the garage doors? Thanks! A: I would do the garage doors a soft gray to match the stone and keystone in the arches, so they blend in.
