Excellent choice! A: It is a lovely tile to work with. It is called Sabine Hill Cement Tile. The pattern is called Sevilla colorway 3 **Q: Fulgor Milano Gas Range** *(in Polls)* I'd love feedback. Has anyone purchased this range. It has a good price point for a 36" Range. Consumer Reports doesn't have any review of it. A: Its a great range, especially for the price. I would recommend it. As far as the hood discussion, it's based on the ability to remove (smoke, steam, etc..) from the cooking surface. For maximum performance they give you the 28"-32" range. **Q: Project Frazier Kitchen Update!** *(in Before & After)* Design Board to Reality: How spot on is this! I am so pleased with how Project Frazier is coming along. It is all I imagined it to be and more! A: Love it!! Looks great. Would love to see the finished product (photos). **Q: Kitchen Reveal - Shaker White** *(in Before & After)* Long time lurker here. After buying our house a year ago, our renovation is FINALLY complete (or almost complete)! Most of the work was done in the kitchen. After lurking the forums for months, we knew we wanted shaker style cabinets. We looked at all the big brands, but were priced out for what we wanted, until we came across a suggestion on this forum to look at the Amish in Pennsylvania. We talked with a few cabinet makers, and eventually settled on Oxford Cabinetry in Oxford, PA. Laverne, the owner, worked with us on pricing and timing. We made the nearly two hour drive (from the NYC/NJ area) one time, and completed the rest remotely via email, text, and phone. Laverne was able to push our cabinets through to meet our renovation timeline, and at an unbeatable price. Jonathan and the rest of the installers were also excellent. They were very professional, knew exactly what they were doing, and cleaned up after themselves after they were done. We were so thrilled with the results that we had Laverne build a banquette and custom closets for us. But, without further ado, our kitchen reveal! The closets are set to be installed this week. Nicely done.. **Q: Help in choosing kitchen cabinets paint color.** *(in Before & After)* The gray tile will be our kitchen backslash, the white BIG tiles will be our floors throughout the dinning table, living room & kitchen area. The brown strip is our granite countertop, I know not modern looking but its already on our kitchen, & theres no turning back! My kitchen cabients are currently chocolate brown, they will look tacky with our new tiles & backsplash, I would want a beige or grayish tone. A: Karen Yasikov, SW7641 Collonade Gray is a Sherwin Williams Paint Color. So any Sherwin Williams Paint Store or have it color matched at any paint store. They should be able to do a paint match from the color code if you do not have a Sherwin Williams anywhere around. Good Luck with your project. Colors look great. **Q: Should I gut my kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)* The kitchen is original to the house 1940,s. we have done some upgrades,the granite floor I plan on keeping and have extra tiles to use were needed. I could take the ceiling back to 9 feet. Would you get ride of the arch our would that take away from the charm of the home? A: How do you feel about getting rid of the two returns cabinets on either side of the arch? Looks like it would really open up the space with out computerizing too much storage. Fill in the return wall on the left @ 26"-28" and move the fridge to that spot. May still be able to keep some kind of arch.I would put a pantry in the space where the fridge is currently. I would take down the valence over the sink. Install a bigger window (always easier to go bigger with outside finishes) Bigger window would allow you to move the center line on the sink down to keep it away from the fridge a tad.
