My first thought was “Will it still look beautiful but yet unique”? I started researching different deck surfaces, railings and columns that were made out of PVC. I came across The Porch Company on Pinterest when searching for unique panels as I did not want my porch to look like everyone else’s porch. > I contacted Nancy Moore, founder of The Porch Company, in mid April of this year to inquire about the many panels they had to offer. She quickly sent me over photos, along with details on the construction as I hired my own general contractor since we live in Pittsburgh, PA. The panels I chose were the Cathedral Picket Panels to go along with our English Tutor style home. > We were able to utilize the panels from The Porch Company and the railing system through Trex as we were trying to be as cost effective as we could but still have the look we envisioned. > Nancy was extremely helpful in helping me figure out how many panels we needed and then sent me over to her customer service department where I then dealt with Rachael Moore who set up a cart and emailed me the link for easy check out. My order was placed on 4/22/15 and it was shipped by April 30th via. UPS. When I received the order, I immediately opened the box to make sure there was no damage and that I had received my order in its entirety. The craftsmanship of framing, trim work, painting, and installation of the stone fireplace were all outstanding.
